25 reps is waaaaaaay too much. I wouldn't go any higher than 15 reps. Start out with 2 sets of 10-15. When you can get through those 2 sets without any fatigue add a third set. Overeating one day isn't going to mess up your progress all that much. So you don't need to compensate for it the next day. It's when it becomes a daily thing that's a problemo.

My HRM says I always burn more than the machine. I would trust the HRM because you are able to input your sex, age, weight and fitness level into it.....machines you can't do that so you get a rough estimate.

A lot of changes are going to be happening inside your body while you are lifting but it will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for those changes to show up on the outside. Keep it up!!! Remember, we want to keep the muscle and get rid of the fat.

I got both Insanity and P90x off Ebay for SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than retail price. They were original copies so no problems there. Came with all the guides and charts as well. You do have to be careful and research the auctions though becaue there definitely are some bad copies.

This drives me nuts. The sodium levels in a diet coke are NOT high AT ALL people. There's only 40mg in a whole can. It's not a high sodium beverage AT ALL. As for being an addict......I love the stuff too....but I try to limit it to 1 a day and drink iced green tea the rest of the day since I'm not a huge water fan.

Anytime something goes numb it's usually a nerve issue. You have nerves that run down the top of your foot to your toes and it's probably being pinched while you are working out. I get it sometimes on the elliptical trainer because it dorsi-flexes my foot too much. I wouldn't really worry about it too much. You can try…

I liked my Nikes too but couldn't run in them either ~ got plantar fasciitis. So I switched to some Sauconys and they have been fabulous.
