When I was actually losing weight, that happened to me all the time. I'd go 5 to 10 or so days (sometimes more) and maybe fluctuate upwards and then all the sudden I'd lose 2-3lbs. Now I'm the same weight I was 6 weeks ago despite logging every single meal and continuing my workouts. I eat around 1200 calories every day.…

I would disagree with the poster above that vegetarianism for ethical reasons doesn't make much sense. I think every little thing we can do as individuals is AMAZING and a step in the right direction. Imagine if everyone did just one thing instead of such a small population of us doing it all and not making a dent. I say…

Hello & welcome.[/quote] Thanks! This seems like a fun group seeing as how the topics have a little more range to them.

This is such a great topic because we do tend go through so much during a weight loss journey. I remember when I lost 40+ lbs after having my second child. I was very freaked out about the loose skin - the stretch marks made it look worse. I instantly thought I would be happier at a larger size. Now that I am on the…

I eat bread literally every single day! And I still eat pasta a few times a week too! I've only been at this for 2 months but I'm down 14lbs.

Just lurking for the first time today. Hello everyone!

Only 4 to 5 cheat meals in a year! Wow! That is serious dedication! I think I have had 3 of those already in the 2 months I've been logging and working at this. You've done an amazing job!

This! lol

Very well demonstrated, wolf man!

Wow, Tinker! You really dont fluctuate much! I'm so all over the place!

What is Happy Scale? Do we stand on the phone?! haha - I can't break another phone. Oh, and I'm joking about that but was actually curious about the app.

I say to each their own. Sometimes I weigh daily, and more often then not these days I will because I'm trying to see what foods are causing water retention. Now that I have a daily log of food I can easily look back and see what is causing it. I don't just get bloating, I get extreme bloating. This is important for me to…

Agreed with most comments above. You're still in what my obgyn called the "4th trimester" which is the 3 or 4 months following delivery. After my second child I did WW and got back to my prepregnancy weight of 110lbs by the time he was about 9 or 10 months old. Give yourself a year if you have a lot. If you're only needing…

According to my settings I am allotted 1200. I chose sedentary because I had never seen the inside of a gym in my life. A week or so after starting MFP I started walking on an incline on the treadmill, pretty briskly. I log that burn and therefore get more calories. I don't eat them all back but I do eat a third or so. I'm…

I know! It's very much a relief. Adding 30-50 lbs on top of 30-50 overweight is dreadful! Congrats on the baby and you look amazing!

What's on my mind? I'm having a mild heart attack that my teenager is learning to drive while on Spring Break this week!

Hmmm, where on earth did my reply go? I posted it here....

Congrats! That is awesome. It's definitely about rethinking the way we eat, be it times of day, portions, or the content itself. Some of us might need changes in all those areas. The extra walking will be a huge bonus and has definitely helped me. I've lost 12 lbs in 6 or 7 weeks and I honestly don't think I could have…

Agree with the post above. Trying to weigh "naked" around the same time every "morning" on an empty stomach is as ideal as you can get. Water weight is what it is and even that you can sort of control. Don't get discouraged. Keep on this path because 3lbs in 3 weeks is great and that 1 pound gain is likely just fluid…

Open here. Vegetarian. 12 lbs lost and about 30-35 more to go.

I think he is referring to "the package" because the verbiage seemed like "size" could be angling in that direction. You guys are hilarious. And yes, that's totally important!

Oh hon! You'd end up divorced anyways. Feels too much like settling. I think you need to fun (or stumble upon) who you DO actually want and go for that. I don't really fear rejection thankfully so I'll just try until I've succeeded. I was in a great marriage but after 10 years of it, we were just no longer happy. But it…

I have too few so definitely add me!

This is something I didn't realize was a thing for me, but looking back on my ex's I apparently have a thing for a non-average nose. Doesn't necessarily have to be on the bigger side, but they have trended that way. Intentional picks: Good hair, Tall, Amazing sense of humor and Driven

BECAUSE I'M PICKY! I forget that I'm not the 110lb cutey I used to be (but I'm on my way to getting there again!!) and I tend to aim REAL High I guess! lol. But 1 & 8 if I had to pick. But..... I finally have a crush which feels soooo good! I haven't found anyone attractive in like 5 years and I'm in the prime of my life!!!

The fact that people still buy into these fads [DESPITE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS] is just amazing to me.
