Hi all, @swimmom_1 , sorry to hear about your bad injury from a fall. I hope you get better soon. In 2019, I fell of a roof of a building the same height as a shed. I landed on a brick wall then half on the side of a ladder and half on the ground. I had 2 broken ribs and a punctured lung .I was in a hospital for 3 weeks.β¦

It's sad that parents don't give vegetables to young children for any reasons. Even when I was constipated a lot then, I still didn't get vegetables.π Mum said she was clueless about raising children and she preferred to be working than looking after us anyway.π I remember egg and rice to these days. Update; 12 September, I lost 7.26 lbs since May, from 147.4 to 140.14.# I can wait to reach my 1st GW of 132 one day.

@jonni8214, I'm on 1200 calories too but I don't feel hungry because I eat enough lean protein with lots of vegetables. I have avocados , beans, tofu and a bit of olive oil. I get enough carbs without eating bread, pasta and potatoes.

Thanks heaven! I'm finally fitted with hearing aids. It's fantastic to hear what a person say to me even when they talk softly. I enjoy having conversations with people again. I don't want much, I'm happy just to live a normal life. π€

Checking in : My doctor told me I have high cholesterol and I'm low on Vitamin D. So I'm cutting down on bad fat and I'm using good fat but less of them now. I have to do more exercise and I need to get out more in the sun too.@jem594 , welcome and thanks for the fat joke ! π€£

I had my hearing test today. The result is worst than I expected. But I'm looking forward to be fitted with my hearing aids in 3 weeks time. It will be great ! My weight is still go up and down . Take care everyone. π

On FB, I'm with a few Thai keto and Thai low carbs groups. I prefer the more easy- going group. I would get ideas for meals but I will avoid any dramas anywhere. Of cause I like MFP too for obvious reasons. @canadjineh ,I like your judgy cat.πΎ

It's hot summer for you in the US, but it's winter for us here in Australia. We have tropical weather here in Queensland. I live on the tableland so it's 4 degrees cooler than in the city. It's hot and sweaty in the summer in the far north Queensland too. So, I prefer the cooler weather in our winter of cause. Take careβ¦

Hi all, I'm 66 and back to MFP for the 2nd time. I want to lose weight to stay healthy. I started to put on weight since I was 60. In 2018, My weight went up to 65 kg. In 2019, I joined MFP and eating low carbs and lost 12 kg.( weighed 53 kg ) In 2020,I stopped tracking and gained the same 12 kg back. In May 2021, Iβ¦

Chicken feet in Thai tom yum, chicken giblets.I had kangaroo sausages , kangaroo mince, venison, frogs and turtle meat on rare occations before.I have tasty meals made from parts from inside of a cow , eel and a lot more to mention in Thailand.

I love low calories foods like some soup, Chinese fish balls with or without soup too.

I save some calories for night time snacks . I go for high protein, low carbs and no sugar snacks like low carb cake and tea ect.

Carnivore diet on lesser than 20% net carbs. Keto diet is on 20% net carbs. You can eat green vegetables and berries etc
