Anyone still having success with 1 high calorie day a week to shock your metabolism?

I do OMAD... Well I guess a lazy form of OMAD... I skip breakfast have a protein shake for lunch and then I eat dinner. It's been working great for me so far. In the beginning washroom habits were unpleasant though until my body adapted lol.

Been lifting consistently for about 2 months now.

I weigh myself daily.

I will also mention my goal was originally set at around 1900 calories and I was seeing success. I started my weight loss journey last September at 270lbs but have fell off the wagon a few times along the way.

I recently had surgery and can't do cardio yet. So just the weight lifting.

I have been weighing food and I've been staying away from take out food. I have also been lifting weights for about 30 minute sessions every 2-3 days.

Yes I have been using a food scale to weigh out everything I eat. I have the app set to lose 2lbs per week

Forgot to mention the gain has been over 2.5 weeks

Bcaa's definitely help with recovery for Dom's.. also I want to note when I first started lifting I didn't feel like I pushed myself excessively over the top but the next day I woke up sooooo sore the pain lasted for about 1.5 weeks. After I got through the pain (rested the entire 1.5 weeks) I continued the same routine…
