I am 6'2 male and 244lbs. I punched all my information into the app and have been tracking everything at 1670 calories per day. However I have gained... Went from 240 to 244. What is wrong?

I am close to your height and weight..

I eat in the range of 1900s and loose 1# per week..

Do you use scale to input your food intake? Measure then accurately.

Yes I have been using a food scale to weigh out everything I eat. I have the app set to lose 2lbs per week

Food scale. How many meals do you eat out per week? Takeout?

There are a lot of calorie counting gray areas. And a fairly long learning curve. Get a food scale and keep working.

I have been weighing food and I've been staying away from take out food. I have also been lifting weights for about 30 minute sessions every 2-3 days.

4 pounds over 2.5 weeks could still be in the realm of water weight fluctuations. You haven't added a new exercise routine in the same time period by chance?

We're mostly just guessing with so few details, though. Would you be willing to set your diary public so we can get a sense of what's going on?

Is the weight lifting new for you? There's often an increase on the scale when we start a new exercise routine because the body floods sore muscles with extra fluid to help cushion and repair them. It usually drops off after 3-4 weeks, though.

    How often you weigh yourself?

I recently had surgery and can't do cardio yet. So just the weight lifting.

I will also mention my goal was originally set at around 1900 calories and I was seeing success. I started my weight loss journey last September at 270lbs but have fell off the wagon a few times along the way.

Been lifting consistently for about 2 months now.

I would think 1670 is pretty hard to stick to, right? 1900 is much more reasonable.

The weight lifting can cause you to hold water, so can surgery/inflammation/lack of sleep/stress/travel.

I agree, can you open your food diary? Go to FOOD > Settings, scroll down and click "Public" and save.

Go back and see what changed in your routine... Either you gaining muscle mass perhaps

Unlikely with that kind of deficit. I echo others' suggestions of opening the diary.

This. The body retains water as part of the healing process. Also, you normally shouldn't eat in a deficit while healing from surgery. Your body needs the fuel.
