  • I keep getting home after cycling back from work wanting to go for jog ... and then feel too tired. So instead I eat which isn’t great really...When you u go out to run? I want to get with the programme.;)
  • Thank you Guys... you are right. I am seeing things from a perspective that doesn’t help me experience news things or figure out who I am... funny how our minds can associate things when they no longer support us.

I thought using hand signals or shouting out was one way of letting fellow cyclists know your intentions but I suppose not easy to do if things…
  • Could u be hunching your shoulders maybe you are trying to do too much too soon and this is causing shoulder tension? Sounds a bit like me... enjoy doing something which is helping you sty healthy and well done on starting the journey.
  • Yep I am anaemic but they can’t figure out why... I have decided to start back on iron supplements today to see if it helps... they didn’t do anything last time... but I want to feel good exercising so will revisit anything if it helps @mabearof6

  • I cannot recommend getting a helmet highly enough. I would rather Sweat and be alive. I fell on black ice this winter and the first thing I hit on the ground was my head... go to as many shops as you can until you find the helmet for you. I look ridiculous in mine but I wouldn’t leave home without it. 😊
  • @7lenny7 ... I am trying to reinvent how I run as I started two years ago doing the park run but ran to music .. I am now learning how to run without music.. once I have got my head round being with my own thoughts I think I will be able to run better.
  • Please add me as friend to. I have 15lbs to lose maybe 20.. and then want to stay that way. I am sick of being disappointed with the summer clothes which never fit and the self disappointment felt from emotionally eating to get through tricky situations .. change has to happen.. and it starts now!
  • Thank you for your words of encouragement ... I am going to do the park run tomorrow... 5km... feels nice, relaxed and friendly. I can run 5km really slooowwwwlllyyyy. But would rather be slow and feel good than not do it at all.
  • Newbie here to ... I always feel like I am about to die when I run... is that normal? So... I will start with 40miles... is there somewhere which explains how it all works.. I get nervous going for a run so want to get over that.

  • I just starting again as well ... my first time here I got to goal easily really... but then I couldn’t figure out how to maintain.. now I am back again and feel friends and accountability are both good for succeeding.
