@JustPassingTime it doesn't have to be a sad song that tears you up, can be any song that brings a memory I suppose, could cry happy tears too. in my case id left it too long to make amends so my tears are sad. I also have a song that I relate to/ get upset to but cry angry tears.

yep. a song can take you back to a memory just as much a photo or even a familiar smell. don't stop me now by queen takes me to a happy memory when I was a child and before mental health stripped me of all I was. songs are powerful :)

im 53kg and eat 130g of protein a day. some times a bit over that. if ive read correct your body gets rid of any extra protein. ive not had any issues with eating that much, but everyones body is different. try and eat what you want and any effects just reduce it abit.

this has gone off topic of training light everyday hahaha. just wanted to add that I have social anxiety (well have BPD which comes with many issue) so being in the gym has been a goal in itself. im more comfortable there now and know many faces. but im still easily intimidated or worried, anxious, depending on the moods.…

lifts, escalators, bridges over water or roads, spiders, people; room of people, flying, deep water, the dark, being too far from home, loosing my hair or teeth, tight spaces. getting fat. not actually sure how im functioning? :D

its just an observation. i just see huge plates. but then i don't really look up and about i kind of keep my head down and head for the leg press and get out.

it was said in light banter way, sorry if it never come across like that. i say hello to most of them just don't get into conversation so next time im there ill grab some confidence to ask them to show me. i cant afford a PT, i did have one when i first joined but couldn't keep up the cost of it.

yes sure i will, i once went to join a hatha yoga but the classes started just as the school holidays started so couldn't go and forgot all about it. will see if its still going.

yes I do these as well as isometric holds, dead bug, side plank hold etc. maybe i need to do them more often? not sure i can train abs everyday or not so much train just the holds

ive tested for tight flexors and I can pass on holding my leg up and flexing it to the floor lying on a bench so its not this. ive always done pelvic exercises from childbirth, I don't have prolapse or incontinence or diastasis. but its also used as an abs activator exercise. even doing them make my back feel tight? its a circle aint it, If I try and build up my ab strength my back then feels weak. ive been looking up ab exercises that don't stress the back so will try those.

in my gym the benches and barbells are all in one area where the power racks and big men are. i go to use the leg press there and there's always someone on the benches and intimidating huge weight plates. i don't even think I've seen a small plate there. most of them take turns on the bench during sets so there's no chance…

so eager to be able to do the 5x5 programme. no i wouldn't be able to increase as often as every session as prescribed it would be slower i guess. i tried to do heavier weight on the bicep curl machine and ended up in A&E wit h swollen arm. learned my lesson.

yes i remember you replied to my other thread, i use dumbbells mainly and a 10kg for deadlift which i might need to practice my form on more.
