  • Sending a request! I also have a ways to go after losing a ton. It sucks to start over but I'm over the pity. It just is what it is and every time I control what I eat or workout, I celebrate that victory over stagnation and laziness. I love that feeling.
  • This app kind of annoys me with the ads and limitations to seeing comments. Also the fact we have to pay for scanning food in. I do love the friendships I've made supporting others and having them support me. We all know how hard it is to stick to routines! Good luck to you.

  • I'm also getting back into the swing of weight loss with about 100+ lbs to lose. Give or take, I just want to feel good and be able to walk long distances. Good luck!
  • Personally, you do it even when you don't want to to develop habits. I got to a point months ago where things felt not right and not good when I skipped that 3rd day of working out or eating a double cheeseburger when I didn't really want it bad enough to fit into my cals. I'm talking multiple times a week. You have to…
  • Mom of 3 as well but my two are older so they know to leave me alone during my workouts 🙃. My 2.5 year old is another story but he is in training and sometimes does the moves with me, lol. I'm also in school for the time being and doing the homeschooling with the older two. It's definitely a process but worth it! I've got…
  • I have a similar story. I'm and saw 295lb on the scale in May and have lost over 60lb since then. I haven't looked back. Anyone is welcome to add me (no private chatting boys) and I'd love to walk alongside you!
  • If I really really want it, I'll fit it into my diary. If it's not dire, I find something else to sub whatever it is. For chips, I'll eat habanero bbq almonds, ice cream would be strawberry cheesecake Greek yogurt etc. A huge tactic is also making sure I don't have crap in the house and drinking enough water.
  • Salt and vinegar kettle chips and anything my mom cooks which is the ultimate comfort food.
  • What are you doing to measure your food and meals?
  • I give my 2.5 year old my phone, lol. Not really the answer you're looking for I'm sure 😜. I do have two older kids that can keep an eye on him while I'm working out though so not the same situation. Sometimes he hangs out w me in the garage or I try to get some stuff done during naps. I don't feel guilty whatsoever…
  • Being able to lift myself out of the bathtub without feeling like it's a workout in itself. Ridiculous, I know but I can actually glide right out now. Feeling my leg muscles when I walk. Getting stuff done around the house and not realizing I've been at it for hours because I'm not tired. I've been at this since May and…
  • Conceptually, I need both 100% to lose weight. I notice I become loose and lazy when I don't workout which leads to a calorie overage. And obviously I can't lose weight if I'm not in a deficit. I personally need both and can't lose without incorporating both since I'm not an Olympic trainer and I love food.
  • I got off my kitten (there mfp, I presensored what I want to say) and worked out till I was drenched in sweat. Every workout is a personal win and defeat toward my natural state of laziness. I also threw some cookie dough away instead of baking it.
  • Oh I'm bringing my food scale to my mom's for sure, lol. Only thing is that I don't want to make my family feel uncomfortable by weighing and measuring everything! Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to for sure but I will do it discreetly. I also plan to eat lightly before and to workout so I remember how hard I'm working…
  • Low impact beginner stuff on YouTube. That's what got me started 55lb ago at 295lb.
  • Omg your skin 😍. You look amazing, congratulations!
  • I am no expert but have lost 55lb this year and I can tell you with confidence that if you’re not tracking calories in accurately, you’re doomed. And why shouldn’t you? You need to teach yourself what stuff is calorically and it’s super freakin easy to underestimate what you’re eating and maybe even overestimate what you…
  • True for me too 🤷🏽‍♀️.
  • Hi there, how exciting!! You’ll always remember this day! Remember you may have slips but don’t be discouraged 💜. It’s a bumpy and thrilling road.
  • I have at least 90 to go and have lost 54lb so far. I’ll fr you now ☺️. It’s definitely a goal of large magnitudes and can be tricky at times but we got this.
  • That’s awesome! I highly recommend low impact workouts on YouTube *if* you’re new to exercise. Also a ton of walking videos if you’d prefer to stay inside. I feel like with all the options out there and workouts designed for conditions and places, there’s no excuse not to workout unless you don’t want exercise to be a part…
  • I was almost 300lb 4 months ago and started my journey then for the millionth time but never at that high of a weight. I’m almost 50lb down and have a good 100lb to go. I’ll add you! Remember the foundation for change anywhere is consistency. Make small changes and build on those. Always always keep walking forward even…
  • I would punch Weezer collectively in the face for attempting to remake “Africa” by Toto.
  • I am working toward onederland too. Congrats on your success 😃!
  • I'm very active and would love to acknowledge your journey 😊. Add me! I also have a good 100lb to go and have lost 43 so far.
  • Same here! 32 and am 252lb but I've lost 40lb+ since May (with my doctor's guidance). Just got my blood work done and I'm doing really well with all my levels too. We can do this!
  • That's awesome. Yeah I figured it would take me awhile to actually root myself into a life change but I'm glad I didn't wait any longer at 32. Good luck with everything!
  • My why initially was pretty much wanting to live. My bp was through the roof and I have a family history of diabetes and heart disease. I was 5lb away from 300lb and couldn't walk without knee pain or some kind of pain. I felt like my body was silently screaming that I was headed in a deadly direction. 40lb and almost 4…
  • Absolutely. No shame. Tnp would reverse their biggest regret with the snap of a finger if they could.
  • I'm under guidance with my doctor so I'm ok. I was stuffing my face with junk food and fast food and not moving so once I changed those things, the weight came off. I'm not in misery, just miss binge eating (when I say bag of chips I mean the large bag 😳) but I'm dealing with that through counseling. Thanks for your…
