MFP? I'm finding it really easily: It's right there on my phone, tablet, and laptop.

    Sorry, just kidding!

Weight management - MFP or any other method - isn't easy every single second. For me, calorie counting was the right approach (but it wouldn't be for everyone). For sure, when it comes to learning MFP, let alone grooving in improved eating and activity habits, there's a learning curve, and lots of experimentation/plan-revising along the way. But it can succeed, and the success is more than worth the effort.

Patience, persistence, and problem-solving are useful.

I used MFP to lose weight (class 1 obese to healthy weight) starting on MFP literally 8 years ago to the day today. I've been at a healthy weight since then, admittedly with some ups and downs (all in the same jeans size and in the healthy weight range for me). The quality of life improvement has been huge. The improvement in my health markers (blood tests and whatnot) was dramatic, and it has persisted.

So, if you do this, there will be real effort and commitment required, and pitfalls to avoid. But the results will be worth that effort.

    I'm cheering for you!

This app kind of annoys me with the ads and limitations to seeing comments. Also the fact we have to pay for scanning food in. I do love the friendships I've made supporting others and having them support me. We all know how hard it is to stick to routines! Good luck to you.
