That makes a lot of sense, I was doing the same fasting and doing my exercise before work but when I was getting better at it my workouts were lasting longer so I put them after work now maybe I should try changing it back to mornings. I have been losing body fat doing what I'm doing now, but as you say the scales aren't…

Would kettle bells be a better training? I used to do the extreme kettle bell workout that joe Rogan goes on about, but again even with that I feel really sore the next day, not as much as free weights tho

Is ddp yoga not resistance training ? You're doing dynamic resistance throughout the work out. The hardest one is just over an hour long and has tons of slow push ups etc in it.

I'd rather not do weight training tbh. Got light weights in the house and even those make me feel sore the next day. Ddp yoga seems to be good for building strength, noticing improvements, just probably not as fast or effective as weight training but should get me more toned if I keep it up. It's not just yoga there are…

Are you still doing it ? I think it's really good, I go through stages of being obsessed with it as it makes me feel better after I've done it. The only exercise plan I've done when in the morning I don't feel sore. Sometimes I think progress can be slow on it if you are wanting to get RIPPED, which can be a little…

My weight never really changes, I'm always between 11 stone 7 to 12 stone. I'm 36, male, 6 ft. When I was tracking calories I was getting about 2100 but then on the weekend when I was eating out or having a few drinks it was really hard to track.

My partner has been doing keto the last few weeks, the food seems to be really full of flavour as you can use full fat stuff to replace the calories your not eating from carbs! Think it's just a mental challenge to look at meals where the carb isn't a big part of it! Good luck!!!

35 male, 6ft, 11stone 10! I set my profile up to just maintain weight, been trying to get eggs too but I normally have breakfast at work so miss out on that opportunity!

Just trying to stay the same weight but lose body fat, all I'm doing is exercise and trying to keep my nutrients to 50 30 20 ... haven't been tracking the foods that long though

Thanks for all your tips everyone. I've been doing some DDP yoga alongside the running and especially the below the belt routine and it seems to be really improving my leg strength. Managed a 28 min 50 5k yesterday!! So pleased with it, definitely slow pace but no stopping seems the way forward. Gonna try and do a slower…

I think I sometimes get too focused on seeing how much faster other people are on Strava. The run when I went slow and steady I felt like it had a better workout after rather than when I go fast then walk for a bit

Also... should I possibly change my macros for running to get more protein ? I'm doing the standard 50 30 20 myfitnesspal set out for me
-
I used to be the same until I started intermittent fasting and now I never get snack cravings

The only thing I've found that's good is the m and s super foods salad, I might go around and scan stuff in to see how bad or good they are!

I just want to get them down to 50 on the macro really I don't wanna cut them out

I was 70 percent carbs yesterday tho, is that gonna just put fat on me ? Is it more a case of cooking the same meals but changing the portion sizes ? Like a chicken pasta cook less pasta and more chicken ?
