So nice to see all the progress the group is making, collectively and individually. You are all so inspiring. Tough day yesterday. I just didn’t feel like doing anything and kept grabbing the carbs. That’s an issue for me when I am overtired. Today will be better. 🌞🌞🌞 @Glombog Your daughter is adorable. ❤️

One of my goals is to walk 10 miles each week. Week 1 - 3/1-3/5: I walked 14.3 miles. If I include the elliptical at the gym my total is 22.6. I have to say, I hate getting started, but always feel so much better after. Great first week towards my 40 Miles in March for colorectal cancers. At this rate, I’ll have no problem…

@askewcr So happy to hear about your presentation to students. I have some art pieces I used to promote discussion about the enslavement of people in America, for the elementary school I worked in. The kids are so bright and willing to be change makers. It’s so important that we continue these tutorials.

@ TeresaW1020 My sister just overcame her second bout with lung cancer. The first was after breast cancer, this second time seemed out of the blue, but caught very early. Surgery removed it last September. She’s back to hiking, yoga and generally relishing every minute, every day. I’m a two time survivor as well. And…

Pleasure. As a caregiver, I spend all of my day tending to the needs of someone I love. But, it gets weary. Late night, alone time is when I indulge...overindulge!

Yes...I’m in! As a caregiver, I don’t have the opportunity to meet in person for support. This group is the answer. 🙂

Crunchy, salty snacks...chips, nuts, anything...I’ve come to depend on Aldi’s half sour pickles to get me through. Crunchy, salty, and low cal. 👍🏻

Hello! Glad to be here. As a caregiver, I’ve found it hard to give myself the attention I need to be healthy. Recently, I joined a wellness program at the same facility my husband receives his rehab. Now, I can exercise while he is in therapy. It’s only been a few weeks, but I’m feeling better already. Working on the…
