I struggle with the energy aspect. I can force myself to get up 2 hours early and go to the gym but it lacks the depth and power of my post-work workouts. Even with the help of some pre-workout or coffee, it feels a lot like going through the motions. I don't enjoy the workout like I do when I'm fully cognizant.

EVOO isn't great for frying, just because it doesn't fry well. It has a low smoke point and will literally 'burn' and spatter everywhere. Have you considered an air fryer, if frying is a regular part of your food routine? I have lots of friends and family who have made the investment in one and really love it.

30 minutes on the treadmill, 15 at 0 incline 3+mph, 15 at 4 incline 2+mph. Then the 30 minute express circuit at Planet Fitness, really pushing myself on the cardio bits. Burned just about 800 calories.

I try and account for everything. Calorie counting is a bit of a switch from other programs like WW or similar where certain foods don't count. So there ARE people who can just drink their breakfast and be satisfied! This sounds like my personal hell, but I'm glad it works for someone. I feel like a potential weirdo but I've noticed that I don't feel satisfied without the act of chewing, to some degree.
