Also try to not only look at the number on the scale. A lot of times folks lose inches but not lbs...which means that you might be seeing a difference or more definition in the mirror or fitting into different clothes...but the number on the scale isn't budging. The scale isn't the only thing that reflects progress.

I've endured nearly 5 months of not being allowed to run. Today I got the excellent news that I have permission to run now...short distances to start (which I did this morning) but hopefully training for another half marathon when the weather turns around! I'm proud of myself for sticking to the doctor's orders.

I hate that term....so...SO MUCH! I wish people would stop saying it! Yep-came on here JUST to say that! Why do we always have to be down on our bodies for crying out loud!? I am sure I'd fit that description too but...I don't give a hairy fook. I'm strong and healthy and my body does what it's supposed to do.

Funny thing...I can eat whatever I want whenever I want... Not allowing food to be "forbidden" is...kind of important for keeping a healthy attitude toward food. Food cannot be good or bad. More healthy and less healthy...and all things can fit into a nutritious diet.
