Smoked peppercorns sounds awesome! Definitely gonna try it. Thank you for sharing! I agree with the smoked paprika, I like using it as part of the coating when baking hot buffalo cauliflower bites. Yum!

Reading all of these choices sounds amazing!! My weakness is peanut butter and after reading your idea of mixing peanut butter powder with that paste and rice vinegar, it's certainly peaked my interest. Thank you very much for sharing!

Sumac is something I've never tried. Thank you for the advice!

We only have 1 Trader Joe's store in our state and I love their quality. They need to build one closer to our region but the items/prices you mention would be worth checking out the next time we're in that area. It's a 1.5 hour drive to reach the TJ store up here..

I think if you're always in a calorie deficit regardless of sodium intake then the weight scale stall would be temporary as long as less calories eaten remains the trend. . My trend is similar to yours where my calorie deficit continues daily but my sodium on most days exceeds the max limit under the MFP parameters. Are…

I like your idea with the bell pepper alternative. And, I agree there's nothing to like about dumping a watery sauce on your food. Definitely prefer thicker hot sauces.

Sounds good! Thank you.

I'm certainly not looking for "something magical for weight loss" LOL. MFP has calculated my 16-day caloric deficit at 18,700 thanks to exercise and portion control. I believe the only "something magical" is hard work. I simply created this thread to learn from others how I can expand my variety of healthy choices. Thank…

I love Tabasco as well but never tried the "green" ones you mentioned. I appreciate your feedback.

Larabars! Love them. Full of dates. Lots of lasting energy. Lots of different flavors. My favorite is the peanut butter choc chip. They're a bit pricey but I believe you definitely get what you pay for.

I agree about the breakfast struggle as well! Meal timeframes for me constantly rotate with my overnight shifts and nights off. At first I was worried I would continue eating habits at work, just grazing all the time while running everywhere or working at the desk. MFP so far has helped tremendously with figuring out how…

I weigh daily and I agree it keeps me honest with my efforts. I find it's crucial to weigh roughly around the same time, so I do so after sleeping. I read on MayoClinic's discussion of weightloss that we actually lose a combination of fat, muscle, and water so knowing that guides my macro choices through MFP.

I recently heard about this and decided to give it a try during the 2 weeks. I started fasting 12 to 16 hours on my nights off from work. Very doubtful at first that this would work but I've stuck with it and battled my "stress-related food cravings." So far 8 lbs lost in 15 days. According to Mayo Clinic, fasting helps…
