I ran an entire 5k. I often do 5k’s for my workouts, but they are usually a combination of running and walking because I didn’t think I would be able to run the whole time. This time, I set my pace, which was not fast by any means, but it was a steady pace and I just found my groove and went for it. I ran the whole time.…

1266 days in a row! Why do I do it? I never want to be fat again and logging everyday keeps my priorities at the forefront of my mind every day.

Lost 66 pounds and have kept them off for 2.5 years. I've bounced around with a few pounds on and then taking them off again but I am steady and still working hard--because I will never be "Fat Kaitie" again--I refuse. Anyway: NSV's: 1. Today is day 900 of logging my food into MFP. 2. I went shopping for some new clothes…

Bravo! You look FABULOUS! Great idea to take the side-ways pictures every stone lost, it's a great way to see all of your progress!
-
I don't think you look older at all! You look amazing and your face is glowing!
-
This! Totally, even on soft squishy chairs too, man it hurts.

1764 + 66 = 1830

Bravo. You look incredible!

Ok, I've got to get it off my chest. My MIL. Grr. Last year around this time she gave me an oh so helpful comment 'your face looks gaunt, you should stop losing weight'. Thanks MIL, thanks. She doesn't realize it but I gave her the silent treatment for the better part of 6 months after that comment. Yesterday, 'You look…

Well, that was just glorious and now I am floating on cloud 9. Today I saw a bunch of people from my old job who I haven't seen in 3 years and they were flabbergasted at my transformation! "You look GREAT!" is a phrase that sticks out clearly in my mind. Man, this feels really good. :-) Wahoo!!

@LargeEricS First and foremost--you are in control of your own destiny. You are not destined to be fat--but it sounds like you (like me, and many others) will have to work constantly to keep your weight in check. I have two suggestions: First: Throw away (or donate) your fat clothes. Make a firm commitment that you will…

So, I went out for a bike ride and did 5 miles. As I was coming in the driveway I see my 11 year old nephews in the driveway with their bikes. They said, wanna go for a bike ride? Not to disappoint I said sure! Hopped back on and we started riding. I heard my nephew say, we should wait for Aunt Kaitie, right as I was…

MIL's...... smh.

Love this!

I'd say to start with the first 5 pounds and when that happens, then work towards 10. While looking at the overall goal is good, focus on small steps first.

Bravo! You look amazing!

That's awesome!!! Congratulations!!

I’m going to tell you what I wish I had realized back in 2007–the first time I dropped 60 pounds—yes the first time. Don’t get complacent. Don’t think that just because you lost weight that it’ll magically stay off because it won’t. If you are not constantly monitoring your weight and your calorie intake you will gain it…
