Ive been hypothyroid for years .. I typically eat under 50-75 carbs a day (rarely over 100) and it hasn’t affected my personal levels.

@ronnie_hutton08 - if your talking about going over on sodium. - just count the grams in everything and stay close to your goal number. Just wondering - What has 9000mg of sodium? 1 full teaspoon of table salt has 2,325mg of sodium. Are you sure you are counting the sodium correctly?

Thanks @AnnPT77 🤗🙏 I prefer Sari non fortified - (that has 5 grams of protein per 2 tablespoons).. but I also have Anthony’s fortified Nutritional Yeast and it’s 8 grams per 2 tablespoons. Great ideas and wise words! Thanks! Ps - meant 60 cals - oops 🙊

Nutritional yeast - 8 grams per 2 tablespoons - I use it on eggs and salad.. also in baked goods. I wish I had found it earlier! I eat a lot of fish - high protein.. I also take collagen peptides in morning - adds about 14 grams .. 40 cals .. it’s helped .. adds up. 😉

When I was diagnosed with insulin resistance- my doctor told me a low glycemic diet was best for me. Through diet I was able to get off Metformin.

Hmm ... Sicilian slice, grandma or regular? John’s of Bleecker St? Di Fara or Koronet? Jk Really thin slices like Patsys or Lombardis - 250.. Bleecker st Sicilian- I weighed it and entered 350. Koronet on UWS and Benny Tudinos in Hoboken - huge slices — don’t eat the rest if the day lol.

If the entries don’t have the confirmed check next to it.. I do some research into how much the food item calories should be. It only takes a few minutes ... I’ve built a lot of my own entries, recipes and meals. I scan a lot with the barcode feature and input manually. Also - most fruits, vegetables, seafoods and meats…

Hey All! Dinner this evening: 🍽 cauliflower crepe finger sandwiches w/ tuna niçoise. 🥗 Salad w/ red oak, anchovies, kalamata olives, grape tomatoes, aged balsamic, evoo & shredded pecorino.

Oh! What a great problem! :) Some ideas: I use a berry compote on poultry and pork, and lamb! Use with spinach for a morning juice. Mix with yogurt. Mix with chia pudding. :)
