When it comes to hating a job, I feel like there are three choices: 1) keep quiet and take it 2) speak up and talk to your boss and your boss's boss, if need be 3) find a new job Most opt for number 1 because no one likes change. I'm going through this right now myself; I've tried 1 and 2, and now I'm back to 1 again. I'mβ¦

Welcome to MFP! I just came back (again!) a couple weeks ago and doing pretty good so far. This time it's for real! Motivation comes from within... find your 'why' and keep it out in front of you every day and you can get past the tough times. Stay consistent and be persistent and you'll do great! π

LOL It 'degraded' to bourbon by the firepit with the neighbor...

@cbstewart88 here here! LOL

@mmultanen I agree on Makers 46. Have you tried Angel's Envy or Buffalo Trace? Both are smoother bourbons than most IMHO. I'm in Indianapolis but go to Louisville for business so I sample the wares of Kentucky's finest industry. @CoffeeAndContour good advice!
-
@alteredsteve175 lately, I've been partial to Buffalo Trace God, I sound like an alcoholic here... honest, I don't drink that much anymore! π¬
-
@mmultanen I need to go to that one! The Bourbon Trail starting me drinking bourbon... never did until I visited Maker's Mark, Heaven Hills and others. I like dry too but I'm a red wine fan. I like cabernet sauvignon, merlot and occassionally chianti. A chilled dry chardonnay with some dry cheese is good too.

LyndaBSS - I do... the trick is to not have too many days like this! π
-
I'm drinking Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale... I like dark, fuller body beers, ales, Porters and stout. How about you, Miss Chievous? What kind of wine, mmultanen? What's everyone else drinking?
-
Congratulations! Some awesome hard work to get where you are... keep up the excellent work! π

Good morning (well, afternoon now)! Welcome to MFP! Ask questions and explore both the app and online versions of MFP... you'll find some differences between the two that may work better for you.

If you plan ahead, you can have a nice meal. I try to stay away from carbs (even more so now that I'm on a keto diet) but I don't shy away from red meat... a filet or sirloin has less fat. Fish is always good but make sure it's wild caught, not farm raised, and stay away from tilapia. Italian restaurants are tough for meβ¦

LOL modified keto means I cheated sometimes! π Not being on MFP, it was very difficult to watch my CICO and I added a few lbs, plus I lost my friends... π¬
