It works for me because it forces me to stay away from bread, pasta, added sugar, etc.. I feel that it’s good for short term and for people who want to lose weight fast. Take that with a grain of salt...but it truly works for ME.

My petty reason is when the nurse reaches for the blood pressure cuff to take my BP, she/he doesn’t have to change the cuff to a bigger size to reach around my arm when I’m wearing a thick sweater.
