My goals are: 1. Track daily even when out of town (estimate as necessary) 2. Keep a regular sleep schedule. 3. Daily workout plus a daily walk 4. Track water/calorie free liquid
-
My plan for the challenge is to keep up with the exercise despite being gone from home a lot (I am even taking my scale with me). I have a list of short workout videos and I plan to walk and hike every day (unless I am on a plane...lol). I love these challenges.

Do you know what diet you will follow? Yes, calorie-based. Lots of veggies. Using as much as possible from garden. Aiming for more protein. Grilled meat, grilled veggies, and salad for most dinners (gotta enjoy that in summer). Have you followed this diet before? Yes. Found some recipes? I have many saved on "PlantoEat".…

Yes, I plan to exercise every day (aiming at 60-120 minutes)! This summer, I will continue cardio, be more regular in strength training, and include more stretch/balance work (my weak point). I will also include the more strenuous gardening.

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday was my DH's birthday. We do not do much, but we picked up some sushi and tried not to feel like we had to work on out "to do list". I did post 71 pictures of him (can you guess his age?) over the years working on projects, spending time with family, and traveling. It was a week long project, but…

Good Morning Everyone! It is sunny and 18F here in southeast Wisconsin (brrr). But, I am enjoying the sun. I am so excited about the next challenge. The end of the last one was disrupted by lots of troubles around me (and a few disasters by me- like keeping pipes from freezing when our recently tuned-up furnace just quit).…

Hello Everyone! I am slowly trying to get some balance in my life. Things have been absolutely crazy lately and I need to breathe deep. On the positive side, spring is so exciting. Although the ground is not warm enough to work with at this point, I have been outside a lot and the plants that I have started indoors are…

Good Morning! I am popping in to say hello and wish everyone a marvelous weekend. I have had a very stressful couple of weeks- they say that bad news comes in 3s (the last few weeks have been well beyond that). I am trying to focus on the positive and move forward. Anyway, I miss the challenge and many of you. So, I will…

How many 5% Challenges have you done? I think that this is my 7th. I know that I did 3 or 4 with Sparkpeople as an Awesome A What do you like to do for fun? Travel, camp, garden, kayak, bike, read, play piano, and read to my granddaughters What major city do you live in or near? State? In southeast Wisconsin between…

Good Morning Everyone It is 8 degrees this morning. That is low, even for southern Wisconsin. We have a thermometer in the chicken coop and it was 20 in the coop. Even though we have very cold hardy chickens, I find myself checking the temperature several times each day. We live at the end of a cul de sac and our backyard…

I am stopping in briefly this morning and I hope to be back later to read posts. Time is flying and I am already feeling behind (and I am trying to minimize my to-do list). So- this is my wish for everyone- May your December be filled with peaceful, joyous moments. May we all find ways to tame stress and enjoy the season!…
