  • Really depends if I need to drop a few or gain a few. I eat at maintenance mostly and eat back 3/4 of workout calories. I cycle, run and lift (in that order). I can burn 1000 calories a day, If I did not eat back most calories I would loose muscle mass and become a twig.
  • Thank you! My waist measures 36.5 on the tape. I can get 185 g of protein but is hard without suplimenting shakes. I have changed my routine to a push pull with two leg days. Eventually I will get into full body workouts. I was doing an “old school” bro split but seams like it’s not for the “beginner” lifter. Bro spilts…
  • That’s what I was thinking y’all. Where do they get these figures?
  • I use Strava for cycling and Map my Walk for walking. I have them linked and synced to MFP. Once the workout shows in MFP, I then access the workout and change the calories by using .3 x weight x distance. For Cycling I cut the calories in half. I do this since the tracking apps are not accurate.
  • I currently lift 5 times a week along with the cardio. I lowered my cardio to not burn so many calories. Example chest triceps Monday biceps and back Tuesday Wednesday off Thursday legs Friday chest triceps Sunday biceps and back.
