Agreed but I have only entered 1kg/week (2lbs) which doesn't seem unreasonable? Yes, I thought the age and goal weight thing was odd too. Maintenance is 2000cal/day.

I look back now and realise I've used food to manage my depression since I was a teenager. I've had dysthymia and MDD my whole life and it's only just been managed well for the first time. I tried so many different Antidepressants but they either didn't work or gave me hellish side effects. I've now also had geneticβ¦

Hi all, I'm starting OMAD in a couple of weeks. I have just started on ADHD meds and I find that my appetite is pretty absent during the day now anyway - sorry, I know that's not helpful for those people who don't have that tool but if it's any consolation, I'm taking it because I have Binge Eating Disorder rather thanβ¦

It really is so hard when you've been using food your whole life to self-soothe and so frustrating when people say "Just have some self-control". Yeah, it's not self-control I'm lacking, it's helpful ways to self-regulate myself. Thank you all for sharing your stories. Stay well and feel free to check in here or privatelyβ¦

Hey thanks for sharing your stories. 10EsseeLove, I also have BED - it suuuuucks. mpluna64, food comforts me and gives me a feeling of wellbeing that drugs and alcohol can't touch. skbrodie, I really hope you've found the right mix - it can be a long and exhausting journey to get the right meds and the right dose.

Hi all, I'm back after a big break. I lost 20kgs last year but then started a medication that was an appetite stimulant and, well, here we are. I'd love to have some accountability friends - especially anyone in Brisbane, Australia. Happy to cheer each other on! I'll be mostly doing OMAD and some shorter fasting cycles.β¦
