  • Although fascinated with this thread, I couldn't read all comments before I wanted to add something. Humans are attracted to and love looking at beautiful, healthy, strong things including people. That said, there is a wide range of what people think is beautiful, healthy, and strong looking! Unhealthy people are a cost to…
  • My daily life is fairly active, and after no "exercise program" whatsoever for over 15 years, I joined a Crossfit gym at 58 years old. I never got injured. I LOVED IT. I got STRONG and well rounded. Regardless of AMRAP, I purposefully did lifts and exercises as slowly as I had to to maintain form. I started "box jumps"…

  • I kind of have the opposite problem, I am so full! The goal for my macro's are 30% Carb, 30% Protein and 40% Fat. I've only been on MFP for about two weeks. I think I exceeded my calories once. One day I was warned that I under ate so much that there would be no blog post for me! I struggle to eat enough protein, and find…
  • @Remilleronsafari , since I don't know what you were trying to do, I'm not sure you did it "right", but I found you!!! I'm new too, and just kind of poking around here, looking for a group that eats low carb, high fat, post menopausal. How about you?
  • @airbeatWay to go! I agree kcko is the best advice, just jump back in. Are you also in the Low Carber group here? It gets a few posts daily.https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/discussions/394-low-carber-daily-forum Like this?
  • I just started actively using MFP as of 9/11/2020, and @airbeat, I too have been looking for LCHF group for seniors, more specifically one for post menopausal women. I don't think I'll go keto. Anyway, I am still figuring out the website and exploring. @camtosh, I'll check out the Low Carber group you mentioned, and can…
  • I connected the MFP, MapMyWalk, and Sleep Cycle apps to my Health app on my iPhone. I just started using these after starting MFP again. I like keeping track of things, and these apps work so well together. Depending on how they play out over time, I just might have to get me an apple watch!
  • My petty reason to hate corona is that it makes me feel irresponsible or like an idiot. I am only going out when I truly have to, yet I have friends and family that have get togethers and short trips, and seem to find ways to "live" while I haven't. We did get together with my two kids and their families at home for…
  • I've been stuck at home since Mid March, 2020, and now I'm actually stuck IN THE HOUSE since August 17 due to smoke. I find myself no longer enjoying activities I used to, and my sleep troubles have returned. The good news is I know what to do about it! Myfitnesspal will help me out of this, and I will become healthier due…
  • Hello All. I'm tired of seeing my carefully cultivated wardrobe that no longer fits crowded in my closet! I have been the same weight my entire life (except for pregnancy) without any effort whatsoever (I know, totally sickening, isn't it?) So, after menopause I finally understood what most of the world population already…
