  • The rewarding yourself with food makes the food taste MUCH better too! But the task has to be legit like you said.. dealing with a difficult relative. Some people are like oh I made it through another day of work guess I'll reward myself with a cheeseburger. Definitely an occasional thing or, sometimes I will make a trade…
  • This is very inspiring.. I've been reading a lot about metabolic damage from losing weight and worried I'll never be able to increase my calories once I reach maintenance calories. I'm currently 260 and on 1400-1500 calories a day. Losing weight fast but seeing you losing 110 in a year makes me feel safer in my choice.
  • Today I fit in a booth with plenty of room to spare that 6 months ago I wouldn't have even been able to squeeze into.
  • can I ask what your calorie intake is/was? Did you slowly lower it? I'm walking 5km a day and eating between 1250-1500 calories a day. Still losing pretty good.. 10-12 pounds a month. Afraid of lowering my calories more in case i do metabolic damage. But sure would be nice to lose weight faster.
  • I definitely wouldn't recommend if you have any sleep issues. I dont initially do fasting but yesterday I had a big lunch and just wasn't hungry come supper time so I had hummus with a rice cake (70 calories). I woke up 5 hours into my sleep last night and usually I can get back to sleep. I found myself not being able to…
  • I'm at 110lbs lost now! I would love to see 200 pounds! I know if I keep working hard like I'm doing now that I'll get there. It sure helps seeing success stories like this to keep me motivated though! Hope to join ya in the 200 club within a year!
  • 385 vs 290 Currently 275. Aiming to be 185.
  • 385 vs 285.. 100 more pounds to go
  • I was SUPER excited to get my CPAP machine! I had been wanting to get one for awhile but without insurance it took me awhile to save up for both the at home sleep study and CPAP machine. I became super frustrated trying everything to sleep with it because I knew how good it would make me feel. I cried when my mind would…
  • A lot of what I like from this thread is a lot of peoples motivation that keeps them going is stuff I look forward to and that adds to my motivation. Being able to sleep through the night and feel rested feels like a dream, but I know it's a reality if I keep my weight loss up. The feeling good and not constantly exhausted…
  • You are definitely not alone! A lot of my friends have been struggling and losing motivation as well. The covid 15 is a real thing. A lot of my friends are gaining weight and having a hard time losing it. A therapist friend of mine says her industry is booming because of this. I just did 12 sessions with a therapist and it…
  • I'm able to wake up at 7-8 hours and go through the day not feeling like I only slept a couple hours. That I can hit the books and study without almost instantly feeling like I need to take a nap. That I can watch a movie and be able to focus on it without my mind drifting away or having to stop the movie because of mental…
  • Yep! Thats Cory on the Liberty! He's my favorite Entertainment Director. I was bummed when he left Carnival. I try to take a cruise every 2 years. I love them! That photo was back in 2015.
  • That was very good information and made me feel a lot better at only doing 2.5mph.
  • I'm about to reach my 100 pound weight loss milestone.. I started at 385 and just today weighed in at 291! We're rocking it!
  • 10 more pounds and I'll have lost 100lbs so Ive been really motivated lately because of that.
  • I just joined. I've been losing 12 pounds or so a month. Just exercising and counting my calories. I've been upset because so many people I know have lost 20 pounds a month and it's been discouraging. But to see how far you've come with 15 pounds a month gives me a little more encouragement. I didn't take a good before…
