@evangsimmons170 Wow! I am so inspired by what you wrote. 10 minutes of movement is a great goal, and finding ways to enjoy your movement is essential. I liked being a member of the YMCA but it's a far drive as we live far from civilization. Your post is so positive and focused on your goals. You want a body that "flows"…

Hi, @Kali225. I was glad to read that you came here to post about your snacky night and your walk the next morning. I love to read about when people can move forward and “turn the ship around.” That is so inspiring. Jenn

1/31: 4475 steps 2/1: 37 minutes elliptical + 15 minutes weightlifting + 11374 steps 2/2: 48 minute walk + 6384 steps Family drama is ramping up around here and I am using meditation and exercise to help me manage it. But, as an emotional eater, my go-to is food. So I am reminding myself today of my history with food and…

CW: 146 I had a massive gain this week, and I see that no matter how much exercise I do, what's on my plate matters most. I always know this, but try to subvert this knowledge because controlling what I eat remains challenging for me. I am right back where I began, at my heaviest weight to date. Hoping to change some…

@ashleycarole86 The steps are just from my Fitbit. Should I stop including my walks? @kellie_erin I was sorry to hear about your rough day. Uggh. Sounds like a memorable one. Here's to better days! Jenn

Had a binge day on Friday night and I really enjoyed myself, I have to say. It wasn't crazy but was enough that I couldn't make up for it Saturday or Sunday, so I had to just take the surplus in calories. Jenn

@kdblpn Glad to hear that you're back at it! @conleywoods I would say that I view myself as driving the wagon; I am more of a leader in life rather than a passenger. @DD265 Pre-logging meals is a great idea. That helps me stay motivated and focused, too. @ashleycarole86 Great loss this week! Wow! @evangsimmons170 I like…

@gak71 I love that you're planning ahead. Cash in tomorrow's motivation today. What a great idea! Jenn

I love food and eat about the same through the year. I love all seasonal foods. But I think in the winter, putting on weight feels instinctual for some people! It's cold out there! ⛷️

Hi! Same here!

You're doing a great job, losing 1 pound across two weeks. Weight loss takes time. Avoiding pain is key for sustainability, though. Go easy and learn more about which movements will bring ease and comfort and joy rather than pain.

Congratulations on losing 45 pounds! That is quite an accomplishment! I have found that losing 5-15 pounds is really challenging, when that is all you have left to lose. I don't have any advice but just support in that losing those last few pounds can be tough.
-
What a great message! You've done some good work. Inspiring!

That's amazing! Congratulations!

But I was happy to get in a walk and some yoga. Happy Wednesday, team!…

@jugar Continuing to log my food daily motivates me into February. Also, getting in extra steps. I have a busy day today as I start teaching again after taking some time off (since May). Spring semester begins this week and I feel hopeful and a little nervous (although I've been teaching for 15 years). But I plan to stay…

Congratulations @bowens1973! Fantastic first place! 1/16: 31 minutes elliptical + 8899 steps I had SUCH an amazing weekend with my sister's birthday party on Saturday and a potluck with friends yesterday. I did not drink, and I am glad about that. It was a beautiful gathering, and I am grateful for my friends. Jenn

Celebrated my sister's birthday with her yesterday (Saturday) by having a party at my house. She loves to drink alcohol, so I planned out several cocktails, which were delicious but also sent me over my calories. We made and rolled our own sushi, and finished with some vegan cheesecake (she's vegan). In sum, it was a bit…

@micki48 I understand your situation. Moving right now is really crazy. Our neighbors listed their house for sale and then took it off the market because it was just too overwhelming at the moment. We are also considered selling ours and moving to a different state and the idea is daunting during this time, to say the…

@MandiSaysHey That's great! Passing up the bakery section is a win any day. That feels good.

@kellie_erin I was sad to hear about this! Home troubles can be so stressful! Uggh. I hope that you go easy on yourself right now. Stress is so tough to process, especially when your home is falling apart around you!

PW: 143.6 CW: 146 Well, I have reached a new highest weight ever! I had a great week. I logged everything, went over my calories once, and got in more exercise than usual. I met most of my goals consistently this week. However, I am 2-3 days away from menstruation and can see as much as a 5lb increase during this week. I…
