Musical instruments.. By far. Priceless stuff are family movies and pictures. Those are not worth anything to anyone other than my immediate family.

As my mom was dying, she was experiencing death-bed visions of family long, long, long past and was talking with them. She would quietly mention out loud who was there to see her. She shortly passed hours later. I for one believed she saw who she did.

Yes, I do. I've had a few experiences I will go on record believing they involved paranormal activity. I've offered up the events to others who have discounted me as 'crazy'. At this point, I generally keep stuff like this to myself.

This is awesome!

RA is challenging. My wife is on monthly injections for it. Her losing weight had helped somewhat as well.

Dropping in to say hi. Halfway through my 50's. Been ups/downs since I first joined in 2014. Fortunately, mostly ups. I've had a few different accounts over the years. If anyone wants to add me to their list, please feel free.

You did great by having a balance and most importantly doing what you felt is best for you to do. I fell short of the 30 hour goal by 5.5 hours. Oh well.. All in all, it was my highest single month rowing ever: 285,648 There were days I simply didn't feel like exercising and I am totally fine with my decision even though…

I setup my initial account in 2014 and kept it very active for about 4 years (lost 50+lbs, etc...) Since then, work and life demands pulled me in different directions at various points. When I knew there'd me many months of not logging in, I deleted my accounts to prevent hacking issues. Probably 3 different times,…

Not as well as I would have hoped. I signed up for The Long Haul (30 hours). I will probably end closer to 20 hours. Life had other plans for me for the last handful of days..

On average, 6-7 hours nightly. About 4 of it is uninterrupted, the rest is not great.

He was one-of-a-kind. Defined the 'light' for many drummers who came after.

Dad here. Not too much older than yourself.

Been here for years. Only a portion of that time did I share my diary. I eventually made it private after so many people making unsolicited comments/suggestions. Issue solved. I've had members join my friends list only to drop me within a day or two after they realized I didn't keep my diary public. Shallow people at it's…

Going to make an attempt at the The Long Haul. Who knows what life will bring each day, but it's a goal.

Music is my LIFE!

^^ That's insane. I generally don't hit that many 15k's all year long, but this time of year, I've personally given up fighting the miserable cold, ice and snow and make rowing my predominant source of exercise. Years ago I made it a point to do one 1/2 marathon weekly. Would even do a marathon or two over the winter. My…

I forgot that you could go over 200k and it still count until they hit their ceiling. Glad I kept going. I'm currently at 281,767m though at this point, it's for personal accomplishment. I crossed 8 million overall today. Used to be many more rowers here when I originally signed up for MFP in 2014. Seems most either don't…

It is a lot of money, but if you are able to get out of it what you need, it's worth it. A consideration would be to read the pdf manual on the Garmin site on this specific watch to ensure you aren't unhappily surprised after you've spent the money on it in terms of features, etc...

I have this watch. Been using it for a few years (at least). First one had an issue with the screen/face where it got cloudy and was not longer viewable. Garmin replaced for me for free. So far, so good with the face on the replacement. GPS is actually very good in terms for me. Then again, I'm not surrounded by mountains,…

200K completed. Now that the challenge has been met, I will stop posting my numbers. Pushing on to my personal goal of 8 million by 12/31. I was going to suggest Rowing Machine but it's already been mentioned. Another is step aerobics.
