1) blood work showed borderline blood sugar number closing in on pre-diabetic. This was the biggest wake up call. 2) Quit drinking all alcohol (was a beer drinker) 3) Started tracking food 4) Started walking 1 mile daily now up to 4-5 miles These were main motivational factors in order of biggest motivators. That’s great Lisa I’m looking to lose 30 lbs (not a specific time frame), however 1-2 lbs weekly would be nice. I’ve been walking since covid started and now up to 4-5 miles either daily or at least every other day if I get tired or sore.

Congratulations, I’m struggling with having gained some weight back after 30lb loss with another program. I eat mindlessly in the middle of the night when I wake up and would welcome any suggestions to stop this. I find logging food, exercise and accountability partners who are encouraging very helpful 😀

I try to not make off limit any foods, just limit amount and frequency of less healthy items. I’m recently separated too and actually finding myself less stressed and increasingly motivated.
