  • @shanaber I sent you PayPal and I am in Providence, Rhode Island. I can't link to Strava while I'm at work but I'm going to try to remember to do it later. I have about 20 miles to add :)
  • @shanaber I joined the challenge and I'm trying to send you paypal but the link brings me to my own profile- I'll try again later, just wanted to let you know.
  • Happy New Year! I exceeded my December goal with 147/130! Yay. I've decided to do Run the Year for 2022 so my January goal is 168.5. For RTY I'm going to count walking miles too to give myself a bit of a cushion and not overdo it with running. This will be my third year attempting RTY and I haven't succeeded yet so here…
  • @Teresa502 So far I just upload everything to Strava, but I’d like something to hang and trace what I’ve completed at some point. It makes for an impressive visual! I’m pretty loyal to Saucony in general but I’ve dabbled in New Balance and always been pleased. @polskagirl01 Pretty snow! I hope we get some soon…

  • @polskagirl01 Mostly weather and darkness related. Most weekdays I can only get my run in after my kiddos bedtime which is so it's dark (and now cold) so I just cave and do the treadmill. I have lights, etc. but I have a really hard time choosing outside unless I have a friend to run with. Treadmill just seems easier and…

  • Hi again! Here for my second month. Came in a little short of goal last month so I'm going to keep it the same. 130 miles for December! 12/1 - 5.3 treadmill (speed pickups during commercials)
  • Woo, was out of the loop for a while, guess that's what happens with vacation. I find it difficult to follow the community posts on my phone. Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving and is happy with their November mileage and goals! It's getting cold out there (at least for this New Englander) 11/1 - 3.2 11/3 - 3.2…

  • Happy Monday! I had a crazy week last week as my youngest kiddo had to stay out of school and get tested due to being a close contact. Thankfully everyone is negative and healthy. I'm plugging along still trying to reach my 1000 (176.4 to go) miles for the year. This will be my lowest mileage total in 3 years but I am…
  • Speedgoat 4 have been my favorite trail runner of the past two years. I run and I do long hikes in them. Very comfortable! I was hesitant to try Hoka because I heard they run narrow but I really like them.
  • Saw a lost this morning and was pretty well within target over the weekend (which is usually where I just completely fall apart). (F, 37, 5'6") SW 158 10/26/2021 GW 140 ?? Weighed in 155 this morning. It's a start! Happy Monday everyone!
  • Happy Monday everyone! Fell short of my weekly goal by 2.5 running miles, so hoping to make that up this week! 11/1 - 3.2 miles 11/3 - 3.2 miles treadmill 11/5 - 5 miles 11/6 - 11 miles trail running 11/7 - 5 miles treadmill walked 3.5 miles 27.5/130 November running miles
  • I'm going to start today! 11/4 157.6 Stayed within my calories yesterday, but ate two donuts. Not going to do that again. I fell into a trap of not having a snack handy for after my run and went for what was convenient (also the donut wasn't going to last another day, so just not going to buy them anymore)
  • Lately my only option during the week is the treadmill and I am so over it. I am very much looking forward to some trail time this weekend. 11/1 3.2 11/3 3.2 6.4/130
  • New here and I'm in for this challenge! 130 miles for November
  • I'm in! How does this work, just posting here in the thread? 37 year old mom of 2 very energetic boys. I'm a runner, hiker, cyclist - give me all the cardio! I'm trying to work on adding some strength into my routine as well as tracking my food. Exercise is no problem for me, but watching my intake is hard. I'm considering…
  • Good luck! I keep starting and slacking over and over. I'm trying really hard to be consistent for a while this time. It's easier to stick with it when I start to see results. I always quit too soon! I also run (and hike) trying to get back into some home yoga and weights classes but it's hard to fit it in with two small,…
  • Hi there! I am also a mom of two young kids (5 and 7). I've been using MFP off and on for years. I know I need to stick with the tracking to make it work so here I am again trying to be motivated and follow through with using it to reach my goals!
  • Sounds great. I usually hit about 12K, would be a nice challenge to increase that!
  • I similarly would like to lose 20lbs in the next few months. I do a lot of cardio, very little strength (which I would like to change). I have trouble sticking with using MFP so I'm trying to be really dedicated this time around. It works when I use it. I'd like to be your friend and motivate each other!
