I, too, make no claims of being "beautiful" (let others be the judge). Having said that, the part about being painfully shy to the point of not socializing much, to where people think you're too stuck-up to talk to them, is completely relatable. I made an attempt to go back to college at one point in my life. Did my bestβ¦

Yes, people conventionally regarded as beautiful do suffer from serious insecurities just like anyone else in the world. I've seen it firsthand. And then there are people who are conventionally not beautiful by societal standards, who have amazing confidence. This life is a mystery.

I don't have time to read an entire article right now, but just going off the title - beauty equating to higher levels of intelligence seems like a fallacy
-
It's true - sometimes when we're around someone we're attracted to, our brain shuts off and we are unable to have intelligent conversation π
-
+1 this, but in the vice versa When I used to Tinder, it was so frustrating to me how many women conventionally thought of as 'hot', contributed virtually nothing to a conversation or had little-to-no personality. It makes me think that a lot of people blessed with good genetics get too used to people fawning over them,β¦

Roger-that Ladies and gents, we're adding one more body type. Fat. And hairy. Bit of man boobs:

I've heard of "short-staffed" but "no-staff??" When you start growing out of your childhood and become an adult with responsibilities and bills, how do you just not show up to work?

Buffalo is pretty much like cow meat. If you did a blind test, you might not even tell a difference. Squid is awesome π I 100% would like to try python meat π. It can be very high in mercury, so even if I did like it it would just be a once-in-a-lifetime thing Horsemeat is definitely on my bucket list. Possibly someβ¦

What if a person has a messed up spine and walks a bit "differently?" I don't mean totally off but you know, something peculiar about the way they take steps I do kind of like exceptional posture as well, though. I don't see it often, but when I do it's hard not to notice it.
-
Why "π"? When you eat meat you're essentially eating something that was once a living creature no matter whether it's a cow, alpaca, horse, dog, cat, etc. They were all living creatures. I'd be willing to try non-conventional sources of meat π€·π»ββοΈ...... with some exceptions, of course. One of them being bats I canβ¦

Pro tip: a great way to enhance your style actually has nothing to do with style or clothing at all. Just improve your physique and wear clothing that fits you properly.

Been a long time since I put this one on. Kind of paints a very specific scene in my mind. Fire up a black 1979 Pontiac Firebird. Put on the black leather jacket. Coasting around at night. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oJm0LHU4KLI

:o you are correct. I just checked and it's actually Leonardo DiCaprio. An asinine mistake on my part π€¦π»ββοΈ

She 's growing bored π. I can tell. With the way the communication has been going between us. And the look on her face the last time we talked, says it. Kinda begs the question, then, of why she wants to keep things going.

Jason Mamoa? In which form? When he's super fit and cut, or the above βπ» 'dad bod'? Believe it or not, the physique in the 'dad bod' option is Jason Mamoa

Well.. I did say "Why is it that in a relationship, it's ok for the woman to go ogling." But you'll notice I then wondered aloud "Am I categorizing this into sexes when it should be taken on a case-by-case?" Nowdays I'm noticing a lot of battle of the sexes going on. "Men are *insert baloney here*," or "Women are *insertβ¦

You ever have a meal that is nothing out of the ordinary, but on a particular day it just tastes exceptionally well for some reason? Like, extra, extra good? And you don't know why because you've eaten this stuff plenty of times before. Little moments like this are very much fine βΊοΈ

Driven to madness. As of late in general, not just right this minute. Been alone for a straight month now with no meaningful human interaction. Starting to long for familiar places and faces, and some in-person human interaction. No, this has nothing to do with covid social distancing.

You've coined a new term in the world of fitness. That's really what they are, aren't they? 'Lambo cuts' :D

Anyway, I digress. Too much ado over marketing boloney. Bloviatus Maximus. My next post will be positive π

In keeping with the theme of psychology in consumerism, how about a cotton t-shirt from Brunello Cucinelli, for the low price of $395? Designed for your inner sybarite. Let's all put on our Brunello Cucinelli and start a gang called Sartorial Sybarites.

For the longest time, I myself have aspired to look like the lean (with size) sprinter's physique. Although, xellercin makes a compelling case. Function > form, or better yet, aim for the best of both worlds.

Although there are no wrong answers so far in this thread, this is my favorite one. You really, really thought about this. How old are you?

I totally agree about the serratus muscles, they are indeed cool looking. They kind of give a person the "Lamborghini" look. Kind of like the difference between a regular turtle and a snapping turtle. The regular one is more rounded and streamlined, while the snapping turtle is more jagged with a lot of cuts and angles.β¦

Let's talk style as it relates to psychology and price/value. Take a look at the below shoes ππ» Not going to mention the different brand names, but it's the same thing, yet one is $1,175 while the other is $179. You know the price is inordinate. The brand you're shopping with may play into psychology and start telling you,β¦
