I wouldn't kick it too hard, it's better late than never. At least you're taking a stand now to get back on track. Take baby steps if you have to, as long as you're moving forward to your goal.

Me as well but I have learned that my body needs the activity just as much as the diet. I'm proportioned well but just the fact that my weight doesn't quite mesh well with my BMI reading of "obese " makes my skin crawl. So I'm back in the saddle too!
