I have done both. Right now I'm just going for deficit. But if I have events that come up like a wedding I'll definitely zigzag to try to offset extra cals at events.

I am not one of the disagreers, but after reading your comment I think trauma is more expansive than just the deep rooted stuff. We all have some kind of deep rooted trauma that has been formative for us. I also think that it isn't necessarily an unresolved trauma, cause you can't really resolve trauma. Maybe anβ¦

I honestly just buy whatever's on sale, and shop the perimeter. You can also pick up new spices since they help with cooking

I'm sorry you're going through all of that. It's a lot. I think you need to fuel your body appropriately given the depression and health issues. Do you try to avoid sugar and unrefined carbs (i think those are bad for PCOS, and sugar is really bad for mental health). Are you eating your veggies/fruits/proteins and drinkingβ¦

To stay motivated for today I'm going to take my pup for a long morning walk. Have a giant coffee, drink water whenever I'm hungry. Eat a light breakfast and a big smoothie for lunch.

Hi Faye! You can feel free to add me as well. I've got about 40 lbs to lose. Trying to stay motivated is the hardest part. It is awesome once the wheels start spinning but I'm guilty of falling off the wagon into a pile of donuts from time to time.
