It happens to us all, hope you’re ok. You go this!

Yes I get very hyper focused haha. I need enough protein as I lift but not to the detriment of other nutrients as you say. Anyway, I’m looking forward to eating more “normally” now😊

Maybe I was low in fat? I was careful to measure it. I was mostly trying to get protein in. Something ill bear in mind now as I still am very protein focused. Anyway, done now! Thanks for all advice 🙏

Keep at it. Rehab is tough and your an animal for getting through it! Hope you recover fully soon. Don't knock what you're doing either, adaptations are great when we need them.

Thanks for all the info guys, I'm just using them for snatch and clean pulls at the moment. I guess my biggest and maybe stupid question is do they wrap around my thumbs?
-
I didn’t start until I was about 44, and I’m 49 now. I really hope that’s not classed as old 😮🤣
Not at all, I believe there's one or two in my gym rocking it in their 60s. I was 33 when I started.

That would be recorded as 15kg. You don't add them.

My trainer has me do wall sliders and prone snow angels to help with this. It’s working slowly. Well, enough for me anyway and I have a previous shoulder injury. Now obviously listen to a medical professional instead of me! Edit: Also you could try cleans instead of snatches. Without following with a jerk of course. Still…
