Thanks for all the info everyone. This is plenty! kshama, my protein goal without workouts is 171g/day. I'm on a fat loss / muscle building routine. I'm a 46 yr old 5'9" male and weight roughly 200lb. My trainer thinks 171g is reasonable for my goals and my makeup.

Thanks for the feedback both. So 140g of protein... how should I redistribute the other macros? I set them to 53g fat and 171g carbs. Oh, and I set my goal to losing 1 lb a week. cmriverside, I will read through that post. Maybe it will answer this question.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! The take away I'm getting from this is, no, cardio isn't technically necessary to achieve my goals, but there are certainly many health benefits to be gained from it anyway.

Thanks both for your feedback. My experience with the app so far shows that while you can't add muscle building as a goal in the goals section, you can add exercise (even specifying that it's "weight" and # of sets and repetitions and lbs per set, etc.) in the daily diary section. However, it doesn't let you log how many…
