@Red_B1rd:Thank you!! I find it’s very easy to do. I don’t eat processed food…well mostly. I do eat Ezekiel Bread…but 99% of what I eat is fruits, veggies, beans, and nuts. I also do it with intermittent fasting (which I just found out last year was a thing). I have always tended to eat that way. I’m busy during the day so…

Thanks. All my settings are set up to get the notifications. I think it’s my phone. Have a new on on the way…been having problems with it :/

I use intermittent fasting. I just have water, tea (nothing added) and black coffee during the day. I eat a very lite dinner (100-250 calories) and then at 8pm I have my binge I eat 1000-1150 calories worth of snack. It fills me up so much I’m done with food for the day. I would add I eat a whole food vegan diet and my…

@pattifishellpage sorry about the late reply. For whatever reason I’m not getting notifications for these discussion posts. I’m a vegan but I also do intermittent fasting. I eat a low calorie dinner then snack heavily between 7-9pm. After that I stop eating and don’t eat again until dinner. During the day I have black…

Thanks everyone. Tried to add those who asked but for whatever reason MFP isn’t letting me. No idea why that it is? Feel free to add me if u can.

@metaphysicalstudio thanks. Yeah I have definitely taken some time to reflect since this post and gather myself a bit. I’m 46 now and for whatever reason I was picturing this to end with my 26 year old body which is highly unrealistic. I’m lucky since I don’t have much loose skin (not as much as I anticipated anyways)…

@MaggieGirl135 Thanks! Appreciate you taking the time to comment. I’m doing better with it all. Just the shock of viewing myself now compared to back when I was really fit was messing with me a bit when I posted. Tbh I’m lucky in that I don’t really have much loose skin…a bit but as I continue losing it hasn’t been as bad…

@VRTC1960 thanks and thank you for your continued support :)

@lietchi: thanks for sharing and I definitely feel the same. I’m happy to have lost weight and am still going strong. I do feel like *kitten* over letting myself get to 350 pounds. It’s pretty messed up but since posting this I have dropped another 15 pounds and am doing a bit better overall (mentally) about it. Thanks…

Before: 350.1 pounds Currently: 235.4 pounds Down: 114.7 pounds Goal: 180-165 pounds (not sure yet)

Before is at 350.1 pounds Current: 235.4 pounds Goal: 185-165 pounds (I’ll decide once I get there)

Yeah this is a very different place than it was a decade ago. Back then there were groups, and challenges going on constantly. I had a bunch of very active MFP friends, some of which I have met and even worked out with, others are still friends IRL or on FB from back then. Now everything seems to be less focused on social…

@mrschwarten right?!? It’s crazy!

@kshama2001 just saw this movie last week with my girlfriend. We both liked it a lot. @westrich20940 Have you ever seen death tunnel? If you enjoy really bad horror movies death tunnel is a must see but if you suggest it for a group watch you may lose friends (it’s that bad). The viewer reviews on IMBD are hilarious and…

Hello everyone, I was on MFP back in 2014 and returned last year. Managed to lose 98 lbs in that time through diet and now that my health has been restored I’m looking to lose some more while adding cardio and weightlifting and want to get a good group of motivated people on this next step towards my fitness goals. I…

I have actually spent a lot of time with this and through trial and error have found that calories burned can be off by as much as 25% (barring user errors like entering your weight and age wrong on a treadmill for example). What I like to do is subtract 25% from whatever I burn before I log and then if I do eat anything…

apparently I've lost a 2 month old horse. I don't know how to feel about that...I mean good but to think I was walking around with the equivalent of a 2 month old horse...

hi, idk if this would apply to you but I have chronic lower back pain. Im 5'8" and was 350.1 pounds at my heaviest. As I lost weight I also was losing pretty quickly. My back pain I assumed would get better but it got way worse over the past year. I carried my weight in my gut as many people do so what I was told is that…

hi, I lost 98 pounds on my own and recently decided to reach out to others going through the whole weight loss process. Having MFP friends to talk to...people that can relate...has been very helpful. Seeing my feed full of people hitting the pavement for a run, killing it at the gym, posting NSVs, recipes, etc helps when…

HI, I would agree about ditching anything with artificial sweeteners. I fasted a few years back for three days and was drinking diet soda and lost not one ounce. I didn't figure out the cause until much later when I was dieting again years later and losing weight. I added diet cola and within days I couldn't lose a pound…

You're welcome. The vegan diet is worth looking into imo. It takes some getting used to but the results are outstanding. I never was a big meat eater. I tried keto and failed because I was actively avoiding meat lol. It's tough getting protein which is a sticking point for many but I average just 45 grams and have been…

@takinitalloff Thank you! I legit carry 95% of my weight in my stomach/waist. I looked like I was pregnant with triplets. I still have around 75 pounds (give or take) to lose but getting there!!

Hi. I am also in the “back at it” club. I have lost 98 pounds and still going. Also eating a blue zone vegan diet using IF which has helped tremendously. Feel free to add me if you would like but either way, all the best on achieving your goals. Be Well, ~J~

Got it worked out :)

I have also been on a while (2014 although with a different account). I am approaching the 100lbs down mark and like you I was going at it alone. Feel free to add me if you would like. Be Well ~J~

@MissGeorgiaPeachy 70 pounds is great! I’m in a similar situation. I lost 98 pounds and weight loss has slowed down. I cannot make my diet/ calorie intake any better/lower so I added weightlifting and lite cardio to get the weight moving again. I stayed focused by finding what people here refer to as NSVs. Continuing to…

Some of my recent NSVs are: Lost 12 inches around my stomach Went down from a tight 50 to loose 40 waist Went from a 6x to a 2x for shirt sizes Got back to weightlifting and cardio

Hi. I haven’t gone the surgery route but a few friends/family have. Good luck with sending the extra pounds packing. I know people tend to think going the surgical route is taking the easy way out but far from it. Takes a lot of work and so do the adjustments needed to acclimate. I have tried a ton of things over the years…

@amandaluckydog Sorry. I tried and for whatever reason MFP is not letting me send FRs. Since the maintenance thing they did a few days back. They said the issue was fixed but nope :/
