• Sounds yummy; thanks for sharing! :)
• Cocoa butter has ALWAYS helped smooth my hands after a lifting session & my callouses have gotten pretty gnarly at times; although, I have never drawn blood. I have a pair of lifting gloves that look "pretty," but I feel like they impede my grip rather than improve it, so I've stopped wearing them.
• My favorite is Jay Robb's...all natural & comes in a variety of flavors, including Pina Colada. It's also low fat, low carb, & low sugar. It seems to mix well with everything too, whereas some other brands I've tried, have gotten clumpy & rubbery.
• LOL, we've discussed this before...the fact that you think being from the Skook is cool, simply proves that you have never been there, haha. Unless, of course, it's cool because I live here, lol
• Good ole' Skook or more properly known as Schuylkill County...I can see the Yuengling Brewery from my work window :) Feel free to add fellow PA'ers :)
• These posts have brought a smile to my face knowing that others have encountered the same misconception I've dealt with for years & am still trying to overcome...the idea that it's okay to be heavier if you're tall because your height hides the weight. I'm 5'9"...the tallest of all my friends & coworkers & when I first…
• Sounds yummy! I love the defatted peanut butter powder...PB2 is a mainstay in my kitchen cabinet :) Granted, I still like my full-fat peanut butter too, but it's nice to have the option. :)
• Hey Marcy, As you may already know, chocolate is one of my weaknesses, so I was super excited when I stumbled across this recipe for Chocolate Rice Crispie balls - 1 ball is only 54 calories :) The recipe makes approximately 80 balls... Here's what you'll need: 5 tablespoons unsalted butter 3 tablespoons light butter 1/3…
•
I think its because some people think they know everything and like to verbally attack people just to make themselves feel better. It happens on EVERY forum. I understand people having different opinions but I dont understand why people have to put their douche hats on.
So true & yet so sad; thanks for…
• I'm not really sure why there was a need for sarcasm. She had a question; I provided her with more info. It doesn't matter what any of us have to say about the product or any Beachbody programs for that matter. She's going to make her own decision, despite what any else of you think. PS. Thank you for taking the time to…
• Shakeology has over 70 nutrients that are difficult to find in your regular grocery stores or without incorporating a bunch of supplements into your diet that have unnecessary additives in them. They're also low in sugar & carbs, which a lot of healthy meal replacements on the market are not. Yes, they may seem expensive,…
• I'm doing the Dirty Girl Run on May 4th in Wilkes-Barre; I'm super excited! I've never done a mud run before, but have always wanted to. Plus, the fact that the proceeds go towards the Breast Cancer Research Foundation rocks!! Yay for getting dirty, having fun & working out for a good cause!! :)
• As a Beachbody coach, I can tell you that the price of their programs may seem expensive; however, if you wish to be guaranteed the original & FULL program, you are better off buying the program through Beachbody. Prices are often increased by $20-$40 more on other retailers sites as well. Plus, Beachbody almost ALWAYS…
• I'm done & here's how I did them: 80 standing calf raises...heels hanging off a step 95 calf raises...no weights 55 calf raises holding 10 lb. KB [heaviest weight I have at home :ohwell: ] After I added these all up & realized I went over by 30, lol Oh well
• I'm in...I think I'll be doing a combination of all 3 levels.
• ^^ THIS!! I've found so many conflicting calorie estimates on various sites, not just here. The only way to find an "accurate" calorie burn is to buy an HRM, since body composition, age, gender, & workout intensity all affect how many calories are burnt during any given exercise.
• This is the first time I was able to get to a computer, but I finished them last night...I did 100 each set & by 60 I had to PUSH myself to keep going. Who knew jumping jacks could be such a workout?! Great challenge! :)
• Finished...used a 5lb dumbbell :)
• Done! 100 forward, 100 backward...definitely started to "burn" after a bit :)
• Oh Lord, the last lunge challenge I did was 75 per leg...but I'm in, since I have all weekend :)
• I'll do them :)
• Done & wow, these were tough!
• K, thanks for the info & response :)
• I'm in :) Quick question, though....is this a total of 150 or 300 altogether?? Just wanted to double check; thanks!
• Oh, I might regret this, but...I'm IN! :)
• Chex has a lot of gluten-free options. Cascadian Farms is another brand to check out as well. I've just recently begun decreasing the amount of gluten in my diet merely by choice & have found that tapioca bread is pretty good. I also like Udi brand, which come in a variety of flavors that are gluten-free. Glutino is…
