Back in the Game! I was sick for the last ten days with a cold; listless and couldn't get off my dead duff to weigh in. Better now. Goals for this round: No salt! Learn the fructose contents of my food choices! Measure everything! Drink more water (which means drink less coffee)! That's a big order. start-203, start this…

Happy to see this challenge every time it comes out! Perfect time period for me. Thank You @QuiltingJane for a great idea. I can't explain why this challenge has worked for me when so many other methods have failed. Not dwelling on the why, just pushing ahead. Carbs and sugary food, for me, are my weakness. For me, they…

Round 247, my fourth Nothing changes if nothing changes; so what will be different this round? First, keep your goals reasonable. Disappointment is a great gate to get to the "Poor Me" syndrome and junk food will quickly follow. One pound per ten days will get me to my goal in plenty of time to hike the PCT in 2025.…

Back for another round. Began a week before Thanksgiving at 203. Starting weight this round is 195. Goal weight this round is 193. Ultimate goal is 156 pounds. Biggest mistakes last round: not enough water, mixed nuts, and inaccurate tracking. So....... start every day with a 1/2 liter of water after weigh in, track food…

@Comandjarvis Keep me in the runner's loop, please. My strategy, perhaps faulty, is to lose the majority of weight first (another 30 lbs. or so) and then start my 5K training (June). I could train as I go, but thought the extra weight would be hard on my knees.

Thrilled to be in my fourth Round. I haven't been this long in an eating routine in many years. Not sure why this is working for me. I know that Carbs are my weak point, so I have designed an eating plan that avoids or minimizes them. I try to shop for my plan daily at the same time. Holidays treats surround me. I am…

@quiltingjaine I am not aware of any. The Baltimore wing of the family has been out of touch for quite some years. There are more Staleys than I would have guessed. Best to both of you.
