if I get a sweet tooth I eat 5 fruit snacks after putting them in the freezer. It isn't healthy but it is only 4- calories and shouldn't hurt in the long run.

I try not to go over my calories and get my protein in. But, if I'm under and I feel fine then I won't eat the rest of the calories. I know my body and I know when I need to eat.

I go to the gym in my apartment building. It is a 2 minute walk and no one seems to work out there. It is great for me because I can get a good workout with no distractions and can watch TV at the same time.

this is actually the hard part for me. When I'm not stressed over deadlines for school(I am a stress eater), I usually am very active. I have trouble knowing how many calories I burn during these activities.

Thanks. that was very helpful. I am thinking about doing something very similar with the soda and sweets. I have tried cold turkey and it doesn't work for me, I think I need a longer term solution. I am kind of a foodie(love to cook/bake).

That is true. Soda does cost money(im so addicted that I drink like 4 cans a day). Right now, I'm using my saving to pay off loans. You should be happy being tall though. Imo, weight gain is much less noticeable on tall people. Plus, we get that long lean built. :)
