great sound and you can rinse them off.. and they dont fall out either.. at all. you must flush them out. (and they are comfortable!)0 -
yurbuds. the more expensive ones have fabric instead of wire and last longer than most earphones.0

Earbuds don't stay in for me either. I use behind the neck headphones like these -- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Street+Style+Behind-the-Neck+Headphones/9236258.p?id=1218072945062&skuId=9236258&st=headphones behind the neck&cp=1&lp=1 Comfy and stay on.0

I have the Yurbuds and I absolutely LOVE them! I don't have the BTE version, I tried those and they didn't stick in my ears, so I returned them and bought the regular bud ones and they are fantastic! They stay in my ears and it's lick a lock, when you put them in and twist, you actually can feel them lock into your ears. Walmart has them, Dunham's sells them as well. I highly recommend them!0

After years and years of swearing off headphones and earbuds...my husband showed up with a set of the LG Tone a few weeks ago for me and I'm in LOVE...they have not fallen out of my ears once...they are awesome and the fact that they are bluetooth is even better....I would definitely recommend to any runner!!!

sennheiser-adidas PMX680(i)
they are 1 piece with a band that fits comfortably behind your neck, but it lays fairly flat, so there's no problems doing weights in the gym whilst lying on your back
they NEVER fall out
very very COMFORTABLE
great sound
RELIABLE
cool carry/travel case
the PMX680 is the older model with the cable coming with an extender (nice if you want a short cable)
the PMX680i have the 1 long cable & the volume control is smaller/lighter
GREAT unit - you won't be sorry.0 -
these motorola S10-HD headphones have been awesome. i have owned them for about 2 months now. work great with my cell phone and with my ipod touch and ipad. only downside is they are wireless so you cant use them with a device that dosnt have bluetooth or the tv on the treadmill at the gym.

my earbuds finally crapped out on me during my walk/run this morning. i'd love yurbuds but they aren't in my budget right now so I picked up these JVC ones today on sale for 15$

I'll probably wear the cord in the back when my armpocket arrives0 -
Here's a good list I found for running headphones: http://www.workoutearbuds.com/best-earbuds-for-running/
I highly recommend the Sennhesier PMX 680, especially if you don't want in-ear canal headphones. The Bose IE2 also sit just right outside the ear canal. But Sennheiser are still my fav0 -

Buy the earbid type with the interchangeable rubber cups to match your ear size. They cost anythung from $4.99 to $19.99 and work great for running.0

My favorite are the Panasonic earbuds - so many good reviews on Amazon! http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HJE120-D-In-Ear-Ergo-Fit-Headphone/dp/B003ELYQGG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1337812710&sr=8-4
Why they're great:
-NEVER fall out
-Come in so many fun colors
-So inexpensive at around $6 - I bought several to keep in various places such as my gym bag, home, and work
-Great sound
I've tried the behind-the-ear types, but they always slip off because I have small ears. There are more expensive ones and I've used Sennheiser before, but Panasonic are the best value for the money.0 -
These are my go to workout headphones. They sound great, stay put, and are cheap enough that I don't mind sweating on them.

I'm sure that people have already recommended these but my husband and I went through 4 pairs of in the ear headphones for the same reason. He bought these sport earphones that are made for sports and running. They look weird- they have this ear piece that fits in the ear but also have this loop that goes over your ear- my husband just remarked last week that they were the best things he'd bought and I agreed that I was really happy he'd got them. So they do make earphones especially for running. He paid about $18.00 for them. I honestly love them- they do not fall out or slip, and they sound great too.0

The best headphones i have used when working out are these New Balance sport buds. There not the best audio per say but they stay on my head and work every time even after putting them through hell!0
