I had a problem with tracking my steps this week. It didn’t seem like they recorded for a couple of days, but I found the registers on one of my health apps. I don’t know if you want to update them, so here it is: 12/22 - 7,335 12/23 - 13,730 Thanks, Dave

I think you need to raise it up to 7500 steps/day.
That is not mine. I was replying to her comment and said to raise her goal.

I can’t have given you this already? Did I? Show me the other one. I don’t see it.

At some point we should be logging our lean body mass as well.

Fasting can be useful, even if it is just to reach a goal, try and break through a plateau, get closer to God, or to cast out demons (much prayer and fasting).

Instead of a split routine, in order to build strength and good form (key!), try complex movements, like squats, deadlifts, bent-over rows, etc. once you’ve remastered the form and technique then you should move into splits. Do the 5 main movements 3 days a week. You will see much better progress.

I am also taking ozempic and I just got off of Metformin. I must be eating right, because I don’t see any benefits of the ozempic. I was losing when I started and I’m still losing. I’ll stay on it for a bit longer, but if I don’t need it then I’m ditching it. Don’t freak out if you have to go a week without it. It’s a…

One day at a time. Don’t stress yourself out by thinking too far ahead. Don’t live in the past, don’t live in the future, live for the present.

Eight days straight of weight training sounds like it is not good for you. Take it down to like 3 days a week, hour at the most. I know, I tried to run/walk while on my walks, but it was too jarring on my knees and made me feel like I didn’t want to move or walk for days. We will always have excuses to put off doing what…

For sure a scale. I weigh-in everyday, right when I get up. A tape measure, I will use this about once a week for my waist and neck. A food scale is also important to me. MFP has been great for accountability, tracking and encouragement. Walking, my Apple Watch and setting daily reminders for meds and meals and water.

Yeah, zoom in on that baby. Raspberries, no-bake cheesecake filling and Ghirardelli chocolate.

I want to add this to my newsfeed:

Please elucidate.

How did you post that pic? I , for the life of me, cannot figure it out.

I found this on the internet: Beware of liquid DayQuil/NyQuil Unfortunately I stumbled upon this due to having a terrible cold but figured I share with the group I bought both the liquid DayQuil and NyQuil but shortly after using them realized I should have looked up the carbs values. I found that DayQuil had 10g of…

@durden Thanks for that. That was somewhat useful, but I am looking to add pics of anything, like meals, etc. how about that?

I don’t think I am in ketosis, but I am heavily restricting my carbs. I gave MFP my goals and it came up with a certain amount of calories that I need to stick to, so I do, and I do measure everything so that I can be accurate. And I do read the labels. I have to.
My fitness routine has been almost non existent. The truth is I haven’t been feeling the greatest for awhile. Between my stomach issues, the nausea and dealing with chronic pain it has been hard. I have referrals to both an internal medicine and a back surgeon but this is Canada and the wait is outrageous. So for…

I always need motivation, but like they’ve said, that only gets you so far. I’ve struggled with discipline my whole life. I was not a fan. Then I read that goals are good, but it is the process to get you there that is vitally important. So I started setting alarms on my phone for everything, wake up, go to sleep, eat…

Ok, thanks. Finally found my pics. And I can see that I can take one everyday if I so choose.

I had some Hello Fresh meals I had to get out of the way. Now, back to fat loss.
