  • I agree with what everyone else has said, you need therapy as you have a real issue about how you see your body. You have a figure that I'm sure a fair few people on here would envy yet you focus on one perceived flaw. Start focusing on the positives and get some help, you really need to talk to someone and get help. Good…
  • I love veggies and can't imagine not eating them every day but I agree with what some have said, you can't force yourself to like them. I cannot stand avocado, makes me gag, revolting stuff. Experiment, try them roasted with a bit of olive oil or blended into soups, hide them in stuff if that is what works, if you…
  • I have a tone of freezer containers that are just the right size for single portions. I freeze everything, soups, casseroles, patties. If things are sticky try freezing them between freezer paper or put them in the fridge for a while?
  • I start with what I want to cook, take off what I already have in the house and go from there. I can now write my grocery list according to how the supermarket is laid out, well I could until they moved the isles around :(
  • Really good quality virgin olive oil, lemon juice, some herbs if you like, put it in a screw top jar and shake it, delish
  • Mine has way too damn much on it :( I was lazy and didn't shop last week, paying for it this week, I'd estimate I'm looking at around $120 :(
  • Oh yes I love the satisfaction of a full freezer. I'm lucky to have a huge upright so I can really go to town. Each week I cook a full meal and freeze the leftovers for the nights I get home late and can't be bothered. My favourites are: Spaghetti bolognaise Curried pumpkin and lentil soup Beef ragu with pappardelle Beef…
  • I'd say 90%, I weigh and label all my food before I freeze it. If I make a casserole etc I dish up at least 2 more serves than what the recipe says, I buy as much as I can in portion controlled packaging (yoghurt etc). Hardest thing I find to portion is salads etc but I figure over estimating on a salad isn't too bad :)
  • A million times agree!!!
  • I applaude that you could go vegan in the firstplace, I've looked at some vegan recipes and to me they seem so bland and horrid. I'm a meat eater, always have been but I do like vegeterian dishes just not always, I make some great frittatas and salads that are meat free. In the end its your body and your right to feed it…
  • Nope can't do it, when I used to cook with my Nan if I dared to try that I'd get a slap, the beaters went straight into the hot soapy water. To this day I can't lick a beater but I can't stand the taste of uncooked batter anyway so it's no loss :)
  • Greek yoghurt is the only yoghurt I can eat now, the flavoured ones just taste disgusting with all the additives in them.
  • My go too lazy lunch is rice crackers, spreadable cream cheese and flavoured tuna or fresh tomato slices - yum. I also make a frittata on a Sunday and have lunch for four days for work. I just add a salad.
  • I really do not get the whole peanut butter and jelly thing, sounds gross to me, maybe it's an American thing. I don't know a single Aussie who eats it :#
  • Hey, I'm from Sydney :)
  • Sydney girl here
  • I'm a lot more outgoing online and a hell of a lot more flirty, in person I hide behind my fatness and, unless I'm with my friends, I'm very shy.
  • Everything from the boobs down, they are pretty good but below that - blek
  • I've not lost enough to notice my clothes being looser yet but I have noticed it in my shoes damn it!!! I have some gorgeous shoes and will be mega annoyed if they don't fit as they are styles I can't easily replace. They don't make my cherry red stilettos any more :(
  • I love them on men, not so much on women but on either I hate huge ugly ones or so many you can't see any actual skin, just over done I think. Sleeves I think are ugly. On woman I prefer small delicate tattoos, back of the neck looks nice. On men I like arm or rib tattoos but they have to be tasteful. There used to be a…
  • I'm in Australia and tipping is not customery but I was in Canada last August and knew it was exepcted and after learning what their minimum wage was I didn't mind so much. I didn't so much go by percentage unless I was using one of the POS machines, love how they have a tip button so easy, but if I was buying a meal or…
  • I'd like to join too, I'm also from Sydney and have been out doing lunch time walks in this glorious sunshin around the harbour. I'd like to be in single digits again by NYE but between now and NYE I have a social gathering on every weekend, it's gone crazy so that will be a huge challenge on its own.
  • Another Sydney girl here, I have about 45 kg to lose :'( feel free to add if you'd like to, I'm a bit hit and miss with replying though sorry :)
  • Seriously you're marrying this person? What an immature childish brat! He's not worth the agro, go to your marathon, do well and move on. He's not worth it.
  • I don't exercise as far as the gym junkies are concerned, the whole thought of a sweaty gym grosses me out but I do walk outside in the sunshine 2 or 3 times a day for between 40-60 minutes. I do it as part of getting to/ from work. Get a fitbit or similar, you'd be surprised how many steps you tally up just doing day to…
  • I've not used Optifast but I have used Isowhey and the shakes do work well, I have one for breakfast and lunch and a small dinner but I don't think it's the "easy" way out, I find them harder to stick to than eating. The shakes have given you a good kick start but I'd say slowly work your way off them, maybe move down to…
  • What works for me is do not eat at the buffet at all, only eat in the restaurant where the portions are controlled and much better food. Before breakfast walk or run (which ever you prefer) at least two laps of the top deck of the ship. If you do any shore tours do as much walking as you can or try to pick ones that…
  • Is it the taste of the water you don't like or the amount? If it's taste try adding a slice of fresh lemon or lime or some mint leaves. A friend of mine drinks soda or mineral water (she likes the bubbles). I love water and carry a bottle of it everywhere.
  • I disagree on this one, I'd rather eat a place of veggies than cake (and no I'm not a freak, I just don't like cake much)
  • Paint your fingernails - hard to eat with wet nails or take up knitting or cross stitch - you don't want dirty hands on your craft work - both worked for me.
