When I first started I drank a lot of protein shakes. Mostly Premier Proteins until they changed their formula maybe like 5 months ago and now they honestly taste terrible. However, I am glad they changed their formula because it kind of forced me to lean towards more animal meat for my protein, which I love.

Getting enough protein is essential. However, all processed protein bars contain sweeteners and additives to make them more addicting. Depending on what you're goals are, I wouldn't suggest if cutting as those additives and sweeteners can make you crave more. Instead, I would go for a whole food lean protein option like…

I think all of these tips are extremely useful when ordering out. I could suggest preloading atleast 16 ounces of water before. Water stretches your stomach so it can help signal fullness.

I would go for a large cinnamon sugar order of pretzel bites from Pretzel Maker. I would also order a large of the unsalted pretzel bites. I just dislike the salt texture on my pretzel bites. The texture of the dough from the pretzel literally is amazing.

Just contributing to the comments here. Is it strange that I fall asleep with my mind all over the place? I do read before bed and limit screen time and keep my room very cold. I sleep really well, but I like to think of my future I like to think of stories of myself. Sometimes I dream of those stories as sort of like…

Vague. Simply eat satiating meals that will naturally make you crave less.

I would simply suggest to create your own food item and just put in the nutrients for 100 grams or whatever measurement you want to use raw.

To be quite frank, if you’re just coming back and you’re already in a 600 calorie deficit that is quite insane. I would start slowly easing into the deficit and prioritize veggies and protein. I’m assuming you want to burn your fat, so doing some resistance training could be beneficial for you. Resistance training is…

I’m not really sure what to think of this comment. You can’t physically convert your stomach into abs silly. You already have abs and a stomach goofball.

I am not going to go heavily into detail, but I really enjoy beef, chicken, some protein supplements, yogurt, eggs, perhaps even some lamb from time to time and some animal organs like beef liver or chicken heart. Livers texture is really strange, but it literally just taste like steak to me.

Really insightful comments. I would really only recommend what works for your body type and lifestyle. If you’re more active, increase carbohydrates. However I would only recommended 0.8-1.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. A higher protein intake could be beneficial if your goal is building muscle as complete…

I feel like we are missing a lot of vital information in order to actually tell you what you should eat for dinner. No specific type of food is going to magically make you lose weight. It is simply eating under a TDEE estimate, which can also be nuanced since this number is non linear, fluctuating daily.

Yeah I agree with westrich. MFP is not the best app in terms of tracking specific nutrients or minerals. I would definitely suggest using a different tracker or simply manually tracking them via a google sheet. Have a good day!

There are a lot of methods to curving sugar cravings, but I feel like some common sugar cravings are due to a lack of sleep or poor sleep quality. Sleep can heavily influence your leptin and ghrelin hormones, usually increasing ghrelin while decreasing leptin.

Preloading came from Brandon Cruz and PHFF came from Megan Hansen

Hi everyone. Just to join in here, I find meals high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats to be quite satiating. I also heard preloading before meals could also make you fuller, the water stretching your stomach. However, I am not sure how effective this strategy is and really only hear anecdotes on it.

Wonderful comments above. The RDA for potassium is 2,400 mg if you want to go for that.

Dinner for me is some Grass Fed Beef with some 1 tsp of Cumin and Paprika and some steamed Spinach and Asparagus with a little bit of White Rice and some Like Juice to top it all off. I enjoy this meal a lot even though it’s not much.

Yogurt Bowl: Grass Fed Whole Milk Yogurt + Honey + 1 scoop Protein Powder + Mixed Berries (Blueberries + Strawberries + Blackberries) + Sprouted Oats. I am fairly active in the morning, so I use some simple carbohydrates to fuel it.
