Change of plans, my daughter (who found the recipe for the Cajun chicken) got invited to spend time with her friend and miss dinner, so we're pivoting to meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans.

Diced browned top round roast, browned either in A1 or with toasted onion seasoning, with a melted slice of Swiss, on a toasted crusty Lidl bakery dinner roll.

I don’t think I have the calories left for air fryer fries, because I got a red velvet muffin from the coffee shop for breakfast. 🤭 a third of my daily allotment, but I accept (and cheer!) that

Did you know a nice top round/London broil is only 140cal/4ounces! That’s our go-to for steak night etc.

Dinner for me is some Grass Fed Beef with some 1 tsp of Cumin and Paprika and some steamed Spinach and Asparagus with a little bit of White Rice and some Like Juice to top it all off.

I enjoy this meal a lot even though it’s not much.

London broil is the only steak I ever buy for cooking at home.

This week my church choir is having our Christmas concert, meaning we are having bonus rehearsals this week as we integrate our singing with the orchestra for the first time. These rehearsals are from 7-10, and since I'm not usually getting home until almost 7 after my evening commute anyway, and I am the chef of the family, I have to make a choice: leave work super early so I have time to cook a decent meal, or leave work kinda early to have time to go through a drive-thru to feed my family.

Consequently, tonight I will pick up a Papa Murphy's take-n-bake pizza.

I made a double batch of this a few week ago and froze half before cooking. So I am defrosting this for dinner with basmati rice and green beans. It was delicious the first time and very easy.

hmmm will give this a try.

Our go-to for shwarma is to marinate a couple of chicken breasts in a jar of leftover pickle juice, dice it, and brown it in a dry pan with some Za’atar spice, then a lite homemade tzatziki in lalala bread (I can’t think of what it’s called, it comes in sheets).

I’ve got some ras al en hout (sp, probably radically wrong spelling) that may have most the spices in your recipe.

I think I see shwarma on the menu very soon!

Thursday is Roman pizza night. But we’ve realized tonight is the annual tree lighting, which means traffic and armies of singing kids.

    Presumably, they’ll want pizza.

so tonight will be simple baked potatoes, bacon, cheese and sour cream. I don’t have anything else thawed or planned so we’re going the simple route. 🤷🏻‍♀️
