hey are right, you can spot reduce. If you are below 18% body fat AND are using intermittent fasting, you can try the supplement Yohimbine. It works well for shredding stubborn fat but only works in those conditions.

I weigh myself everyday to get an average, and write it down on a piece of paper i have taped on the wall above the scale. Reminds me I've made progress, and that you only lose 1lb at a time. I get excited to do weigh ins, usually one day every few weeks I see a big jump in average weigh in.

I think they accomplish the same thing, Fitbit just has some extras with it. If you can afford a fitbit I would go with that, if not a HRM will work just fine for losing it!
