Do you get nervous when it's your weighing day, what do you do,do you just force yourself to step on the scale
or just avoid it.I sometimes know what the number is going to be & not want to do it.

I weigh daily but only pay attention to my weds weight so I have a rough idea of what its likely to be but still get nervous. Sometimes its better than I think sometimes its not as good as I hope but so long as its going in the right direction I'm happy.0

I do it every day. I don't want to go any longer than that without knowing if I am headed in the right direction.0

I weigh daily an up or down number is no big deal but the trend is what I focus on. The scale logs so I can average out over the months to see whats going on.0

When I first started I gritted my teeth and shut my eyes as I stepped on the scale.
Now I just step on it, record my weight and move on. It is just information for me to use to monitor my progress and make adjustments.0 -
I also weigh daily so I generally have a good idea of what my weight that I record is going to be. But...if for whatever reason I don't want to weigh then I just don't. I don't owe it to my scale to weigh everyday. I'm seeing a ton of positive indicators of my weight loss such as looser clothing. My weight is just another validation of those changes.0

I weigh daily and use trendweight. I don't worry about weigh ins anymore. Fluctuations happen... daily.0

I weigh 3 days in a row, sun, mon, tuesday, and just average the 3.0

I weigh daily but only track my MFP weight weekly on Wednesday. Familiarity has taken most of the emotion out of it. I don't get nervous, because if I've been paying attention all week, I shouldn't be that surprised by anything. Since I am very disciplined with my tracking everything I eat and drink, I am never caught off-guard.When I see the results, I am either satisfied that the hard work has paid off, or I am determined to see a better result next week by trying harder. I've also been doing weekly WIs since 2008, and dailies fro many years, so I've seen every kind of change.
And I say this as someone that experienced a 2-year plateau, only broken by a treatment for a previously-undiagnosed medical condition. I either had to take most of the emotions out of the weekly WI, or I would have quit. Ultimately, the scale # isn't a judgement, it's just data, and one piece of data at that. Try to look at your overall progress - do you feel better, have more energy, sleep better since you switched to a healthier lifestyle? Do your clothes fit better? Are your medical numbers better (cholesterol, etc) ?All of those things are just as important an indicator as the scale.0
