A week off from injury.....Flipping out! have a few more days and I cannot wait to lift and get back to routine. It really made me see,how important exercise regulates my moods and energy.

You need to do what works for you. I am taking a break from weightlifting due to neck injury- but planned a rest week of Christmas. I still log and still Move my butt. But,a break is fine-I have maintained my weight and continued exercise after breaks. If you can jump back on, then do it. If not,consider upping cals a bit…

People either want to start before the New year or after for New start..I notice more people after Thanksgiving too. But, we were all new at one point, And it is a great thing to join and get healthy! It is an even better thing To maintain and keep it up;-)

5'3-47yr I lost 37 pounds by July 2011 and have maintained 115-117 since. I workout 3-4 times a week.2-3 days lifting heavy. Rest of the days, I stay active biking, gardening or walking my dog. I eat 1800-2000+ zig zagging and a Spike day Sundays. I follow 80-20 rules-80 percent I eat very well and the rest I enjoy going…

Change with age,yes! But, I am 47 and much better shape than in my 20's..All due to proper food,ex and Lifting weights! If I could tell anyone in 20's advice..LIFT heavy,eat right..and stay out of the sun w/out sunscreen;-)

I felt this way once upon a time..But, we all have right to be there. I just get my music on and focus on the lifts;-) and everything dissapears..Just focus and forget anyone at gym:-) Good day!
