I can do 3 miles at 11 min pace but that is about it right now. I need to slow it down to 13 ish to get 5+ miles in. If you feel like you have to walk, walk then. Just catch your breath and get back to it. Could be your still going to fast or just not built up to that distance yet. Either or as econut says, just get that…

Im a few weeks out from my first 10K and Ive actually been training off a half schedule. Over in the Runners World forum they basically say as others have said above. Speed will come with the miles under your belt. So thats what Im doing right now, just getting miles in. Sat I hit 8 straight for the first time. I started…

That is BIG BIG news here in NKY. I live about 15-20 mins from him and the great thing about this, he shouldnt be charged. At least Kentucky has some good laws still around. That entire street had issues and he has been robbed 3 times before that. The cops actually put motion cams at his house and caught them breaking in.…

Congrats! Ive been wogging now for about 5 months and I still cant do a 5K in 30 mins. Just shy of 37 is my fastest to date. Great job on finishing, I think thats half the battle with C25K. Like others have said, speed comes with weight loss and miles under your belt. So whens your first 5K? :) http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Let me be the first to say, "WELCOME NOOBS!" Im on week 56 and without this site no way I would have lost 116 lbs. Ive logged in for almost 400 days in a row now. If you want this to work, YOU have to believe that you can do this. Folks can give you all the support in the world, but at the end of the day its up to you.…

I just typed in 5K Kentucky in Google and found a few sites that show what races are avail when. Also try to hunt down maybe the companies who runs races in your area since their site might have a ton of info on it 2. At least the ones in the Cincy area do. http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Slow down then. I know that sounds crazy but even if you think your slow now, still slow down some. If week 1d3 is still to much, repeat d3 as needed. http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Great job! You can def see the dif in the pics. http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Thanks Steve, Im running 3-4 times a week from 14-17 miles and riding anywhere from 10-20 miles per week. Ive already lost a tic of 8 stone but like the idea of 5:2 helping out with all your med numbers. My issue is, those jogging and riding numbers will continue to grow. Still plan on reading more about the program. Any…

Do you exercise and if so what do you do? A friend of mine (who I shared this link with) is doing it and while I find it interesting Im currently training for a 10K (next half marathon). Curious to see if its even possible to do since most training plans are 6 days a week. http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Corey that reason alone made me post my story. I also found a guys post few and far between. There are a lot of guys on here (just read all of the boobs post) lol but most are not as open as the ladies. Ladies share way to much at times. lol My guess thats how it is on most forums. Start a new post, "Guys, Lets Hear Your…

Im not a runner either. :) Slow and steady is my lone advice when you start. Speed comes from months of training, not days. You and your legs will thank me later. lol http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Congrats on the weight loss and your 1st 5K! http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Basically yes, but if it takes you longer that is ok also. Some folks find a certain week harder then others, so they repeat it or do 1 extra session from that week http://freew67.blogspot.com/.

The best part of these pics isnt the lbs dropped or the inches lost, its the smile on your face keeps getting bigger and bigger. Great job so far and keep it up! http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Congrats! You should be very proud of hitting a huge goal! Its hard to explain the joy of hitting a goal like this till it happens to you. From one 100 loser to another, GREAT JOB! http://freew67.blogspot.com/

21.6 lbs in the first month. http://freew67.blogspot.com/

KY DL doesnt have it anymore. Something about it costing to much money to print all those numbers. :P http://freew67.blogspot.com/

If you like to spend money then go for it. :) A platue has nothing to do with MFP but just the weight loss process in general. I was stuck at 260 lbs for almost 2 months. I finally added jogging into my daily workouts and within a few weeks I started moving in the right direction. Norm to break a plateu you need to change…

First, yes anything is possible. Biggest Loser you will see 20+ lbs at times (granted they are working out). My first week I lost 7 lbs with only 180 mins of walking. 2nd who cares. Some people try to cut others down to make themselves feel better. Just writing this post was more time you should have spent worrying about…

First congrats! I have a little mini victory dance when I left the "obese" group. As for the weight loss yo-yo, there are so many factors its hard to say just one. I think its just our bodies way to play tricks on our mind. lol Great job and keep up the good work! http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Great job, you can really tell the dif in your face esp. Keep up the good work! http://freew67.blogspot.com/

Great job! I walked the first 8-9 months and managed to lose around 70-75 lbs. Its nice to see another person do the same thing. I have yet to join a gym but wish I could. Wish you continued success! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
