  • I lost 120 lbs over a 1.5 yr period. Then just gave up trying. I stopped counting calories, watching what I ate, and exercising. I gained 125-130 lbs back over a 2 year period. For me it was that simple, I stopped wanting to keep it off. I am back trying again but with a new view on how to attack this.
  • I have family in Paris. :)
  • I agree with everyone else... WOW! Great job and you should be very proud of yourself! What a change... http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • PC: BF3 and rFactor 1 (sim racing). On the rare occasion, Shot Online (free golf). http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • You can really see the difference not only in your size but in your smile. :) You should be very proud of what you have done! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • Congrats my foreign friend!!! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • Great job even for a Bengals fan! You can defo see the dif in just your chin area alone. Let me guess, you gained most of your weight during football season? Eating out of frustration? ;) I feel for ya, I can still picture Tim Krumrie's ankle breaking in Super Bowl XXIII. Keep up the good work from your neighbor across the…
  • I jogged my first 5K when I was about 255-60 lbs. It took me maybe 2-3 months after I started to jog to hit that. Now, I am currently 218 lbs, lost 122 lbs (340 start) and still cant do a 5K in 30 mins. I did one today in 33:08 but I am not 100% right now. At your size, I highly suggest just slow and steady. Lots of…
  • Congrats on the weight loss and your first mile! I remember when I hit that first mile and its such a great feeling to know you knocked down that 1 mile wall. I started C25K in May/June and a few weeks ago I ran 10 miles straight. I was never growing up or even as an adult. Well, I wasnt till now. lol Keep up the good…
  • Have you talked to your doc about jogging? http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • Congrats man, our paths seem to be about the same. I started at 340 and currently at 217-218. "If I can lose weight, anyone can." I felt the exact same way. I was large for 14+ years just never imagined myself being this light again. You should be damn proud of what you have accomplished so far. http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • For the first 7-9 months all I did was walk. I lost around 70-75 lbs but ended up hitting the wall. That is when I started to jog. I would walk from 30 to 120 mins 4-6 times week. Its one of the best low impact workouts you can do. Im down 123 lbs and still have yet to step 1 foot in a gym. Good luck!…
  • I drink at least a 2L a day of diet coke/pepsi/dew. Like someone said above, everyone is dif. Some folks it wont affect them where Im sure others it might. I hit my goal weight and never stopped drinking it. To each their own I guess. http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • The Color Run is less Run and more Color. Most folks tend to maybe lightly job between stations but my cousin said most folks walk. There is no shame in walking a 5K at all since most in my region are walk/run 5k's. You have to start somewhere. Good luck with your race! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • I would have to say thats a great NSV! Few restur we frequent a server or 2 has said something to me. Its a great feeling and you should be very proud of what you have done so far. That just goes to show your are influencing more folks then you realize. Keep up the good work! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • I agree, looks way more then 19 lbs. Great job! You can really see the dif in your belly and bum. http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • HUGE Congrats on a major milestone. As someone else who hit the 100 lbs lost mark, I 100% understand what you have to go through to achieve such a large number. You look great and good luck on the rest of your journey. http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • WOW is all I think I can say about that! Congrats on a great NSV! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • Yes it was thanks. For me its just crazy to think a little over 60 weeks ago I weighed over 340 lbs. I didnt start jogging till the end of May and I just completed my first 10K. I am not a runner and I played all kinds of sports growing up. I was that kid who would hit the ball to deep left field and almost get thrown out…
  • Huge improvement in your 5k time! Great job! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • Huge congrats! Took me a while to get to the 5 mile mark and then it took a while to break the 5 mile mark. lol For more weeks and you will be saying, "I just jogged 6 miles!" I broke 5 one week and the next week I hit 7. Poor 6 mile marker didnt get his moment to shine. :) Good luck on the rest of your journey!…
  • 6'3 started at 340 and currently 222. I do have some but its not horrible. Dont get me wrong its not great either but its nothing like the folks on the weight loss shows. They say it can take 1 to 2 years for your skin so shrink back in place. That is if it wasnt stretched out so much for so long. I thought somene said doc…
  • Since your only shooting for 20 lbs total, I would do only set MFP to 1-1.5 lbs a week. They say healthy loss is 1-2 lbs, 4 is very unrealistic at your size. If you were 300 lbs, then I would say its possible. The key to what you said was, "unhealthy manner." I feel if you go about it a normal healthier way (note I didnt…
  • Some times all it takes is a wake up call to kick you in the right direction. Congrats and good luck on hitting that goal! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • That is great news! Isnt nice to see all that hard work pay off? :) http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • A goal I was going after and hit. Just havent got around to making something new. lol http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • The best quote Ive seen about dieting is, "Diets are not a sprint but a marathon." Look in the mirror and thats the only face that should matter if you did good or not. Folks can encourage you all they want, but at the end of the day its up to you and ONLY YOU for this to work. Good luck! http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • Was going to post the same thing. That made a world of difference for me. Google, "Good form running". Now Ive also read you dont stretch cold muscles. Walk 5-10 mins, then stretch, then run. Ive also read if you have to warmup to stretch, why would you stretch then? lol I just do an easy stretch before I start and attempt…
  • WW, MFP, Jenny Craig, or tbh any diet can work if and ONLY IF the person is willing to do it. As long as you put forth the effort all these diets are basically the same concept. Ive done WW and lost 50 lbs back in 2006. Thing is the second I stopped I gained the weight right back. Im fairly sure it was that week (my…
