  • Thanks everyone! -futurestarz DO IT! Its well worth it from just a calorie burning stand point. I burn way more cals jogging then walking. During the 5K yesterday I started and stopped my HRM when I crossed the lines. A total of 830 calories burned in 37 mins. Now, that wasnt an easy jog. I was pushing my self to the point…

  • I weigh myself multiple times a day (some days). I only record it on Monday in MFP. I like to know how my weight yo-yo's during the week so when I finally get to my happy place, I have a better understanding of what to expect. I have gone up as far as 8 lbs and far down as 5. I tend to lose 1-1.5 lbs on a normal nights…
  • Congrats! I know that feeling as I was in your shoes not to long ago. The funny bit for me, after a few weeks I was able to run 30 mins straight. Issue was, that was only 2 miles! lol I am no where near a 5k in 30 mins. I have my 2nd 5K today with my first a month ago (41:26 finish). Good luck with yours!…

My guess they are nicer then the ones that were in…
  • First congrats! Funny you posted a video because I was just thinking about something just like this the other day. As for music, you can still add music to it thru Youtube. There should be an option to add the song over the current video (which Ive had to do for the same reason you listed). At least it will be something.…

  • To many factors to give a specific number. As shelbiejo said, without a HRM, its just a guess. http://freew67.blogspot.com/
  • I can honestly say in the past 51 weeks I havent had a week like that. I want to know good or bad how Im doing. Granted I should have a general idea of how well I did since I log daily. If you think you havent budged or gained, more so there is a reason for it unless you hit that proverbial wall. Which isnt fun since who…

If thats what I have to do to keep the weight off, oh well. Im sure Ive wasted more time doing a lot less. :) Yeah the BMI thing, it is what it is. Plus, I was very pleased when…
