I know this doesnt answer your question, but I was at D1CKs Sporting Goods and they had a HRM for $60. In my opinion, without a HRM it would just be some educated guessing.

My first goal was to lose 50 lbs and put me basically right back to where I weighed when I got married. Then 70 lbs would put me in the 260's which I thought Id be happy at. I was wrong... once I hit 80 lbs I decided while 80 lbs was great, 100 sounded so much better. 8 more lbs to go for 100. My last goal is 110 lbs lost…

WOW! WOW is all I can say. You need to stop watching the Lifetime channel.
-
England is also our 51 st state, they just dont want to admit it.
-
Your not allowed in nice restaurants here in the states either. I can show you pics of my trip to England, and WOW they are wearing sneakers to. Or... they were all Canadian. :)
-
Exactly... you could look 100% Euro but once you open your mouth theres no hiding it. Your going to Italy and folks tell you no sneakers with the amount of walking you will do? GET REAL! WERE AMERICAN! WE WEAR SNEAKERS EVERYWHERE! Wear whats comfy, thats all that matters. Its your vacation and if your feet hurt then what…

That still could have been warm for them depending on what part of the states you come from.

Since it involves a scale, wouldnt this be a OSV? :) Congrats! Always nice when others get that, "OH ****" look when they havent seen you for a while.

I floated between 260-264 for almost 2 months. Im fairly sure I only went over 1-2 days during that time frame if I went over at all. Plus I was putting in 200-400 mins of walking with mild jogging each week. There are so many factors to why you gain a few lbs. What finally got me rolling in the right direction was I…

http://www.yogawiz.com/blog/walking/normal-walking-speed.html They have running and jogging as seperate things.. I figured Id post it for a laugh. :)

I am more of a wogger then a jogger.

I was going to start on post on this.. good timing! I like Italian but the sodium is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO high with it. I was going to ask what other low sodium options are out there. I spent 20 mins at Krogers going thru the dressings but most are 200+ sodium per serving. Great its only 25 cals but I like 1 part salad 3…

I try to change mine every few weigh ins. Mainly because I forget but I try not to be more then 5 lbs away. Other then that I dont touch anything else. I have a Polar FT7. I will only change it to what my weigh in was that week. I yo-yo 3-6 lbs during the week at times.

Congrats! Im not far behind you. I know first hand how hard it is to do. You should be very proud of what you have done. As FeelingFroggy said, no reason not to brag. I wont need to tell strangers when it happens to me. I will take my avatar I made and put it on a t-shirt. :) I will agree that its hard to read.

I can jog anywhere from 30-60 mins straight. Issue is, thats at a 14-15:30 min/mile pace. Im currently 250lbs and but I can finally see the stop watch moving in the right direction. It takes time for your body to adjust to jogging from walking. To me the best thing about jogging vs walking... you burn more cals jogging…

Bluebird just curious what type of routine you do. This is something I will be getting into soon. Just want to have a nice set list before I get started.

Today I set a new PR with 2 miles in 29:14. I think it might have been in the high 28's but Map My Run messed up the start of my first mile. I feel I had an early graduation from C25K due to prior credits from another school. :)

W3D3 done. TBH I heard ding, and just started to jog. 3.1 miles and about 48 mins later I stopped. When I started I could have done the last week without any issues. Im 3 weeks in and Im only a little bit sore when I add more miles to the session. I think I just had a head start with the amount of walking I was doing. I…

W3D2 done while pushing my 2 boys. Wait and see what week 4 brings next week.

W3D1 while pushing my kids, still easy. Almost seemed like it was less running then W2D3. Still waiting on my shoes but love my new $10 elliptical.
