  • The Think Thin bars are yummy, a good quick fix. My new favorite are the Zone Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. Unlike others, these have good texture! You can buy them by the box at Target.
  • I hear you! I just hired a PT - my consult is on Sunday... then starting 2 days a week with her. I'm nervous too! Hope it goes well for you and you get the results you desire!
  • In the beginning I lost 25 pounds in about 3 months. Now I'm stuck. Like in cement stuck. I've only been doing the zig-zag (or calorie cycling) for about a week and a half. I bumped them up from 1500 to 1675, and made a "schedule" that varies the calories each day anywhere from 1340-2000. Still totaling 11,725 for the week…
  • Calories burned are calculated by my HRM. I do have a SUPER hard time eating back my exercise calories. Not because I think I'll lose faster if I don't - I get the principal behind it all. I'm just not hungry. Thoughts on that part?
  • Thanks everyone! Peter - up unitl today, the Sodium column was Sugar... I kept really close track of it as I used to be a bit of a sugar addict! Exercise includes running, zumba, strength training, pilates and the occasional kickboxing class. Pretty good variety I think? I'll just stick with it. :)
  • That's AWESOME! Happened to me recently too (for the first time), definitely put a little bounce in my step. :flowerforyou: Congratulations to YOU!!!
  • Yes, lot's of h2o - though I never log it. The Red Bull I could probably do without - and suffer the headaches for a few days. Yes, I do the protein powder to get it up without torturing myself by being too full. I'm not a huge meat eater. The chili was an oddity - no leftovers from last night so I snagged it from the…
  • I drink Designer Whey in Vanilla - sold at Trader Joe's and a couple other local stores. I mix it with 6 ounces of no sugar added fruit/veggie juice. Yummy!
  • We had chicken soft tacos last night. Misson Carb Balance Tortillas Grilled chicken Black Beans Lettuce Tomato Fat Free Sour Cream (or 0% Greek yogurt) About 300 calories. I could only eat one, with all that fiber and protein I was plenty full!
  • Bump! Our 7 year old is going to love mixing and baking these "cookies"!
  • For a low-cal/fat (but probably not low sodium) dip - put a packet of ranch dip mix in a blender with 1 container of low fat cottage cheese. Blend until smooth. I've served this at BBQ's and no one can tell the difference! My personal favorite is hummus... but many people will post that for you. :)
  • My boyfriend does CrossFit and has had excellent quick results. Warning: it's HARD - workout to the point of almost throwing up hard. But, he loves it and I'm seriously considering trying it too. Good luck!
  • 5'8" 165 pounds 29 years old I just (yesterday) raised and started zig-zagging my calories. I lost about 25 pounds in just a few months, but since then have been losing and gaining the same 5 pounds over and over again. I'm giving this theory a try in hopes of jump starting some more weight loss. I was around 1300-1400…
  • Last weekend I cooked our whole wheat couscous in chicken broth, then added pine nuts, sliced green olives, dried cranberries, and a lemons worth of lemon juice. It was a hit with our guests!
  • Think Thin Bites - I love the Cookies & Cream. 100 calories, no sugar. Yummy. :)
  • Think Thin Bar and Bites. The Cookies & Cream Bites are SO yummy, and they contain no sugar. Just lovely.
  • Do a bit of research on Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution... their main sponsor is Oreo Cakesters.
  • I'm in. This is a favorite past time of mine. I usually combine it with cleaning the house in the evenings after our daughter is in bed. Just me, the music, and the duster/washcloth/vaccum. :) What is the current challenge?
  • Thank to everyone who gave their suggestions. I will say that I'm a bit insulted anyone would think I'm putting a price on my heath, though not at all shocked those comments came from those who would be benefiting from me purchasing a program from them. Wishing you all a wonderful week. ~Adrianne
  • And the DVD's work without problems? I've read quite a few reviews that the DVD's were bogus and didn't play at all or not correctly.
  • Right now - Everything Bagle Thins And I pretty much eat celery with hummus every day, mid-morning. :)
  • Yes, the Woman's F7 came with a chest strap as well. Very comfortable. I wear it under my sports bra and never notice it's there.
  • I bought a Polar F7 in February and have really enjoyed it. Though, I will say the calories burned that MFP suggests when I enter the activity and duration is usually pretty similar to what my HRM tells me. It's helped me a lot with my running... I could never figure out why I had such poor stamina. With the HRM I'm able…
  • I'm pretty curvy as well and I love denim. Jeans make up most of my wardrobe. My recent favorites are made by INC (Macys, if there isn't one in your area, check out macys.com). They actually have a line branded as "Curvy Fit", I feel like they had me in mind when these jeans were designed! They are a bit expensive,…
  • Eh, you're in good company. I ate an entire box of Thin Mints last Sunday. Worth every bite. :)
  • I work for a company that manufactures gourmet crackers, cookies, and granola. Partners Crackers in Seattle, distributed nationwide. Everything we make is all natural and kosher. We also have an organic line. Where do you live? I can help you track down our products.
  • It's a blast! I've done it several times and it's always fun. Good cardio!
  • Actually, going over every once in a while is GOOD for your metabolism, it situlates your "enigine" to pay attention a little. Day after day of the same caloric intake can lead you to a plateau. So, if you're going to splurge, make sure you really enjoy it and do it within reason!
  • And I LOVE the bathing suit idea! I got a VS gift card in my Christmas stocking, I may just save it for a new suit. Great suggestion!
