Just found this support group. I'm doing a hybrid schedule of Combat and Pump! LOVE it! I'm on week 5. Just completed Wk 5 Day 2 today: Combat 45 and Pump's Hard Core Abs. So far, I'm only down 5 lbs, but down 1.5 inches in my waist and an inch in my hips.

your food diary is not public. Can't see it.

I'm in Beta phase now and love it! I also drink Shakeology just about every day, too and log what I eat.... here are my results from just the Alpha phase (first 5 wks)...

Focus T25 is a mix of cardio, core and strength training rounds. I wouldn't worry about losing ANY muscle mass - in fact you will probably gain some- tone up more. You can see my Before/After shot of just my first 5 wks of T25. I'm currently in the 2nd half of it and it's faster paced and more intense. There are many…

^^^ I agree! Register for a 5K race now! A race that's in like 6 wks or so.... each run will have purpose and you'll be working toward a tangible goal!!! A real finish line! So many people download and start the C25K app and never sign up for a real 5K race!!! The goal is to run a 5K at the end! So sign up now so you can…

I used to swim competitively in high school and still enjoy it for a cross-training day workout. For breaststroke, I (and most swimmers) breathe every stroke, then duck head down and extend your arms and legs out as you frog kick to propel your body forward in a streamline motion. YouTube olympic breast stroke swimmers to…

Isn't racing awesome!!?? Welcome to the magical world of racing! It's addictive and the best high! I regret not becoming a runner until this late in life! I wish I had learned this in my teens or 20s!

That's easy to say if you have many of these races available to you. I've run hundreds of races, competitively, only 3 with corals. Once again, easier said than done. [/quote] Gotcha! Yeah I live in a major metropolitan area that has about 5 races every weekend.

The thing that really annoys the hell outta me are the banana costume/frozen yogurt costume guys that have the nerve to pass me!!! GRRRR!! Don't they know they are supposed to make me feel better by going slower than me! I mean, come on... they are in full costume in 90 degree weather - look like they are running 7…

I love Turbo Fire! It helped me lose close to 90 lbs back in 2011. I did the 20 wk schedule first then the 12 wk schedule after that. I was very faithful to the program b/c I saw great results from it. I also watched and logged what I ate --- high protein/low carb. Lots of water ---no diet soda ever (too much sodium). I've…

I've had great success with T25 in my first 6 wks of the program. I lost 12 lbs in the first 5 wks of it - Alpha phase. I haven't followed its nutrition guide. I just eat clean - log what I eat. Really I eat a lot of the same things every day to take the guesswork out of it. I usually eat a vanilla Shakeology in the…

I'm training for a half marathon soon - right now just prepping for when official training starts on Labor Day. My Half is early Dec. I'll send ya a friend request!

I got it as soon as it was released through coaches. I'm not a BB coach, but I have one so I ordered through him. I'm currently starting week 2 of the Beta phase (2nd phase) - which essentially means I'm completed 6 wks of the 10 wk program. You can see my profile pic with my results from the Alpha phase (first 5 wks). I…

I'm 5'2", 37 yrs old with 2 kids, 9 and 3 yrs old. I've lost over 90s lbs. Here are my before and afters.... LIKE my facebook like page! I talk about health and fitness tips! Turbo Fire was my main choice of exercise for most of that weight loss.... I run now to maintain and tone up!…

sweet! I've lost a newborn calf!

Do you like kickboxing? YouTube clips of Turbo Fire (that's a Beachbody DVD series) - it's intense kickboxing with a dance flair. FUN! There are some jumping/plyometric moves, but there's a modifier person you can follow and copy her moves --- so you don't have to do those jumping moves - you can do the modified version…

I would LOVE to live in Portland. Looks so beautiful -- Nike headquarters. Bike and runner friendly! Lots of hiking trails. sigh. Texas seems to love pavement and concrete -- too many buildings and shopping centers and fast food.

I'm 5'2" and weigh 138. I'm a size 6 now. When I started my weight loss journey a year ago, I was 227 and a size 20. Feels so good to have the weight off and I actually ENJOY clothes shopping now!

I totally agree! I've done Turbo Fire since Feb of last year. And I've done 30DS and 6wk 6 pack abs (Jillian). Gotta say, the Jillian programs aren't as challenging - I'm not drowning in sweat like I am after Turbo Fire -- my heart rate doesn't go up and stay up as much with a Jillian program. I think hers are designed for…

I did Turbo Fire last year. Started in Feb 2011. Did 20 wks of it and then did the 12 wk schedule after that. Got amazing results. Started at 227 and I think by the time I ended the 2nd round I was around 150. I'm at 138 now -- TF got me into the best shape of my life. I'm a runner now and I love staying active. Turbo Fire…

tried to post your pics for you..... From akyraj2006's post: I am not to my goal weight yet but I have made some progress from TURBO FIRE, which is my favorite workout of all time!!! I really dont know how to post my pics on the forum so i put the urls. the first link is my starting pic @ 278lbs. the second link is an…

Hope my pics work. I started Turbo Fire on Feb. 16, 2011. I did 20 wks of it, then another 12 wk round after that. Ended sometime in early November, I think. I started at 227. I'm now 138. I think at the end of TF I was somewhere around 150. I attribute Turbo Fire for getting me into the best shape of my life -- my cardio…

Yes, I think if you've done Insanity... Turbo Jam would be too easy for you. Turbo Fire is more intense and whoever said that it's not high enough intensity - can't get their heart rate up --- you're not doing it right. You push yourself to the intensity that fits you. There's tons of plyometrics jumping and HIITs - good…

depends on what you're looking for .... I got easily bored with the 30 Day Shred b/c it's only 3 different workouts... and you do the same Level 1 20 min. workout every day for like 1-2 wks and then move on to Level 2 same 20 min workout every day, then move on to Level 3. It got really old quickly and honestly wasn't long…

I'm particularly partial to Chalene Johnson. I love Turbo Fire. It's a high intensity cardio kickboxing program that throws in HIITs (high intensity interval training drills). So much fun! I love it more than Insanity. There's a 12 wk and a 20 wk program.

Natalie Merchant, Janeane Garofalo and America Ferrera (I hope it's her red carpet look- not the Ugly Betty one. eek!)
-
I LOVE Turbo Fire!! So many different high intensity cardio and strength training workouts. I never get bored. I've been doing it since February and I really credit that with helping me lose my 85 lbs and counting. I've stuck with it... I try to sample other workouts and I sometimes mix it up with Jillian's 6wk 6 pack or…

I want to reiterate what carriedavis77 said. I've lost over 85 lbs. I have 7 more to go and I'll reach my ultimate goal. :) I've been losing since Feb. 14. i gotta say, I've done what carriedavis77 has done --- I've filled my FB with weight loss journey "like" pages -- Beachbody coaches, Turbo Fire pages, etc. So when I…

that said, I vote with my dollar now -- spend money on organics and whole foods. Not at fast food joints! And I pay attention to those running for office and what their opinions are on our country's healthy epidemic. And I vote on election day. So that's how I'm trying to change that.... and of course, spreading the word…

I agree. WE all need to take responsibility for our actions and change our habits/responses to triggers. However, it is a crime in this country that one bunch of carrots costs more than a Big Mac. For those families that are pinching pennies, it is truly challenging to change their budget around to spend more money on…
